In this clip, Project Pat talked about not initially wanting to get into music. He said that was Juicy J's aspiration but not his, that is, until he saw how much money could be made in it. Pat also detailed the Memphis mixtape scene, the gang tension, and coming out of prison to Three 6 Mafia signing their first deal.

I’m still in shock that Vlad finally interviewed Project Pat. He’s literally a legend. He’s one of the most lyrical old school rappers from the South and much of the modern Memphis rap scene was molded from his style. Even Gucci Maine adopted his style and lyricism out of homage. 🙌

i worked at a simoniz carwash as a detailer in barlett,tn 16 years ago. he came in and i was in the bay and i got brought a beautiful car to do a full detail on. the bays had windows where customers could watch their car being worked on and i recognized him. i was a little freaked out but did my job, but waxed it outside in the sun cause the car was black. but i spent a lot of extra time on it, both worried to do a bad job, but also worried about how long i took on it. when i brought him the keys and walked him around the car he was real happy with my work. tipped me 100 bucks. was a real nice dude. but also had a aura around him that was kinda scary.
