*Three 6 Mafia’s catalog has aged like fine wine, so many current rapper’s use a lot of their music for sample’s which keeps the legacy going*

Another thing three 6 mafia doesn't get credit for is the fact that they sample their own songs and make hits out of it. They definitely are sample king's. They were way ahead of their time. Most people don't know the hook on sipping on some syrup it's an actual sample from ghetty green album from the song baller's.

@@mikewhite8848 LOL, wow you sure are triggered 😂 you new internet fans are a trip. It’s easy to tell that’s what you are, you people always parrot that same ‘they were way ahead of their time’ LOL. Because you heard of them from the autotune mumble rappers you came up on. And most of the time three 6 doesn’t ‘flip’ anything they just cut a lil piece off a melody and play the same loop over, ain’t nothing ‘flipped’. Very basic. DJ Premier, Pete Rock, J Dilla, 9th Wonder, now those are people who actually ‘flip’ samples rather than just replay an unaltered loop over from another song. They have far more advanced sampling methods. But seriously, calm down..this isn’t anything to get so triggered about. I think it’s great new fans like you are discovering them for the first time.

He's actually been less vocal so far in this Project Pat interview. I don't know if he reads the comments and sees the criticism or if he is just quieter because it's Project Pat. Some of the people he interviews don't have the best conversational skills. I think sometimes Vlad feels like he has to lead the conversation to get them talking.

Everytime Glad interviews three 6 Mafia members or affiliates he always says how much of a HUGE three 6 mafia fan he is. On this video he proved that to be false. How he didn't know project pat is on the hook of that iconic song? He literally comes in the video and performes the hook. Not to mention he has a real distinct voice. Plus he's showing his age by claiming the video was on yo MTV raps the song dropped in summer of 2000 yo MTV raps was cancelled in 1995. Glads time lines be all over the place.

MTV raps wasn't canceled in 95. I was watching in 96 and 97 in high school. I think 97 is when it canceled. I saw Tear Da Club Up 97 on yo MTV raps

@@mikewhite8848 Google is wrong. I watched every week. It usually came on Wednesday nights, sometimes Thursday nights. Couldn't have been canceled in 95. My rap music collection blew up in 96 thanks to Yo MTV raps. Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Lost Boys, Bone Art of War, All Eyez on Me, Makaveli, Too Short Album 10, Westside Connection, and much more all came out in 96. I'm telling I know what I'm talking about.

OK yo mtv raps canceled in 95, but Yo was on past 96. From 1996 to 1999, MTV repackaged it as simply Yo! The repackaged version was far more stripped down. Yo! had a weekly slate of special guest hosts. For instance, Angie Martinez and Fatman Scoop served as its hosts. By 1998, Yo! had no guest hosts and became a one-hour program airing late Friday nights at 1 a.m. or 1:30 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
