There is a difference between salvation and discipleship. Go back and read the Gospel of John and see how many times it says to believe on Christ to have eternal life. Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. John 5:24 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 3 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
It's one thing to be a hearer or receiver of the word but are you actually a follower or doer of the word. Anyone who reads the Bible and remember scriptures can quote the word.The question is, are🫵🏿 really trying to live your life according to the laws of the biblical word?
