I think Rene will be "free-to-play" with ENDLESS DLC. So, basically how the Sims 4 is now. Nothing has changed. lol Except this time they won't make us pay for the base game nonsense that was the OG Sims 4 release.
Well, free to play has the potential to be worse. It depends on what the game is. It would be less likely DLC and more like.... "Hey your Sim died, use a revive token to bring them back." And those tokens are gained, very difficulty, through gameplay, or you buy them.
They need to make another world where you can have blue-collar jobs and go to work with them like I can be a mechanic i.e. they also bring back cars. You can be a handyman and things of that nature and to tie it into university you can go to trade school.
i’m excited that PR is free for everyone, i just hope it doesn’t “feel” free. the new food and appliance coming with the stuff pack is similarly very exciting. also would ADORE a dag dag tee from you!
A Stuff Pack?!?! We haven't had one in a long time!!! Oh, Project Renee might be an app type of thing... interesting I'm nervous about Project Rene being free. In my experience, if something is free, you DO end up paying for it some way or another.

I’m excited by all the announcements. I love food mods so I’m happy the game will be adding more food items. I’m pleased about the Sims 5 existing along the Sims 4 because I think a lot of players have dedicated so much time into TS4 and just really enjoy the game. While I’m not thrilled about EA merch, I’m happy for those who will rock it.
That "update" wasnt much of an update on anything imo but 🤷🏾♀️ but im curious to see where this goes. For now I'll continue playing my $1000 game before i get too optimistic lol. ...i would support nard merch
Oh yes! Enjoy that $1000+ investment. They said they were going to continue working on the sims 4 so we can still expect more packs from the sims 4 while project Rene is doing its thang.

oooh so sorry about that, friend! Project Rene is a new development that the sims team is working on. It's technically going to be the next Sims 5. What's unique is when this launched, Sims 4 will still be around to receive new DLC.
Chicken and waffles!!! Now I'm hungry. 🤣 My assumption, because EA isn't going to give up on the idea of making money, is Project Renesmee will have a cash shop rather than stuff packs or kits. Who knows though? We'll find out just before the game is ready to come out.

I want a sims plumbob lamp and sweatshirts. Also I think pack refreshes were on halt due to the infants so I think pack refreshes will make a comeback too 🤞
That's a good question! how crazy would it be if it was free to download but you had to buy gameplay features right out the gate but I think it'll be free to download and will offer gameplay features.
my speculation for the upcoming EP. perhaps a more crowded neighborhood with lots closer together. the key fob is giving apartment building. or maybe I'm just being hopeful.
apartments would be cool. I'm thinking this will be a bunch of neighborhoods with different cultures and lifestyles. I'm hoping they'll also hit different geographies like mountains, beaches, inner city, countryland, etc.
If they made Project Rene like this, see below, it would probably be better than sims 4. Had the sims 4 customization for the sims, have the actual love and care from sims 2, and has the same features as what sims 3 had. Oh and dont forget about our burglars!

I think it's good that Rene is going to be free, I'm just concerned that it may not have a lot in it and thus not be interesting to play and wait around for the DLC.
I know I’m like nine months late on making a comment on your video… But it really feels to me like they are gearing up from multiplayer. They are taking the Fortnite route of making the base game free with the hope that people will want to spend lots and lots of money in micro purchases. Being honest multiplayer Sims game would be amazing and endless content
they’re slapping new meshes onto old animations and calling it new gameplay. that’s all the stuff pack seems to be. i won’t be buying it. project rene is gonna be the death of the integrity of the franchise. i think EA sees how much money IMVU, Roblox, and Fortnite makes off of micro transactions and are gunning for that business model. We’re gonna see a lot of creators aging down their content to keep up with the new 11-17 year old audience. cause that’s the only demographic that’s going to stick around for this next installment. On another note, I would love to see more skits and I would love a Dag Dag T-shirt 😊
I think EA might have seen how Palia did offering the game free. Could be a similiar scenario. In addition, the DLC will be a huge seller. I'm curious to see how it all pans out while Sims 4 will remain active during the early stages of Project Rene. It'll also be interesting to see how the other simulation games play a large role in future decisions. Yeees! you know I got more skits coming. I'm also going to work on getting that merch. Might even attempt to do a giveaway to a few supervillains. Dag Dag
