that's crazy , I removed my front suspension on my softail deluxe without removing headlight or tank .was tricky but so much easier than doing it this way . but when you charge by the hour for work I guess this is how mechanics do it .

Shame it never actually showed the parts I'm looking for in the video to remove and how to .

What brand of extended front fork sliders did you install and did they need to be bent any to avoid hitting the front fender? Thank you

Thank you for the upload. I'm kind of a do-it-yourself kind of guy. After watching this video I see that it's not so much Droppin like they say and I appreciate you letting us know that. I'm running a Softail Deluxe which is pretty damn close to what you got because I have the same tree setup. I don't know your exact make and model but it looks pretty damn close. I actually have two Softail Deluxe as one of them has the Chrome forks and the other one does not which I'm looking to get done. I was hoping I could do it and my carport on my Jack period but after watching this video I now know that there is a lot more steps that need to be taken.

Really nice Softail and love the addition of the air shocks,, one thing I got to say though is you're very lucky to have a dealership that would actually come pick your bike up when it runs just to do some work in mods for you that's pretty amazing,, Moe's dealerships I walk in and I leave just totally pissed off either from customer service or attitude or they just think that they're they're doing you a favor,, if you're not walking through the door to buy a bike it's like you're wasting their time,, dealerships today have lost the values in the camaraderie in the commitment to service that used to be,, now that I'm done ranting.. ha ha.. good for you to get into a different bike,, and actually come up with your own ideas,, no go buy a manual,,lol. You got a new subscriber..

Would have been interesting to have mechanic talk you thru the process step-by-step. Dealer shop rates are outrageous. Did they charge you for the shop time or chalk it up to advertising??

I personally try not to go to Harley-Davidson to get work done. Every time I've been up there it's been a shitshow with their pricing. I need new tires on a bike that I just purchased. Long story short you can purchase the tires online for just under $200 each. There are a little bit more expensive tires at about $236 each. Harley-Davidson wants $1,100 to install to said tires. They want double for the tires from what the prices online are and they want two hours for installation time. They claim it takes 1 hour just to change out a tire on a motorcycle does the 2 hours labor. I don't know about your dealership but Speedway Harley-Davidson in Concord North Carolina across from the Charlotte Motor Speedway seems to be scamming people

Enjoyed your video guys and thanks and BTW, Harleys softails favorite design bikes. I replayed the first part where yo rolled the bike back and then walked it up on the stand and watched that 10 times and am even going to download this vid just to watch that 30 second part because I have pushed my superglide shovel up my street two times when it stalled once to get a kehin carburetor right, LOL. But heres the problem. My 2002 1450 CVO softail (all original and brake pads at rotors are moving freely) I cannot stand her and walk her. I just cant do it. My body size is 42inch chest with 32 inch inseam so I'm not a little guy but am thin like the guy in the vid. Somebody please teach me this in case my wonderfull softail ever stalls. LMAO...I'm going to be embarrassed to go to the HD where I bought my softail and ask one of the guys to teach methis in the repair and service area, but I may.
