I just want to say this particular instructor makes everything so easy to understand. I have never ever been so glued and interested in learning videos like this. More than ever before, I want to become a project manager. The instructor has made learning this particular course so understandable
Now I really want to be a project manager. I never would have expected myself to have the underlying skillset. Thank you Googlers for the detailed descriptions of all the various jobs and their importance. The more I learn the more excited I become about the potentials for the Grow with Google project. Awesome. Whoever gave you this strategy is almost as cool as the people actually implementing the plan. Just what I was hoping for...mulberries, blueberries, and Arkie references too. Cool. Very cool.
There's a difference between a project life cycle (eg technical work like Analysis, design, develop, test, implement) which contains phases and a project management lifecycle like the project management process groups (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling and closing). These process groups are not always strictly sequential and are not the same as phases. Also Waterfall is not purely linear. It has feedback loops. See the original Rolls Royce schematic. It is better to use the word "predictive."
This is valuable to me, making me see project management a key success in time and within budget. Communication a vital personal skill that is verily brought to play in this role. Glad to having this here
It seems most of the content about Google-project management are introduced by words instead of visualization. One question, does the content also been introduced in the same way in Coursera?
This is pretty awesome.. but my director changes his mind every week oh! even a day...even when we had a plan, he just did not care about it....poor me!

Hi Google, As this course is at beginner level why this certificate is not free. Why this certificate is only through Coursera? I don't think everyone can pay $40 per month.

20:25 Waterfall was never a methodology ... supposedly “invented” by the paper “Managing the Development of Large Software Systems” by Dr. Winston W. Royce in 1970. But have you ever read it? Why should you?
