So the story starts basically from "Cold war" after the fight with the peacekeepers so the federation already got their airpower massacred at this point except for their airships.
@@AceCombatFanI sincerely hope you upload the next missions fast i really wanna the see the ending of this DLC if we get lucky we get can even get a glimpse of monarch from the other side.
Man, those mercs were cocky lol It’s also good to see that the Federation isn’t always the bad guys, and that Cascadia does have some bad apples among the tree
My headcannon is that K9A was a Uber (or the equivalent of that), that's why the callsign. And honestly, going from Monarch to Driver as Player characters it too funny, the shift in tone is awesome!
@cipher0328 I think cobb might refer to Cobbler, which is a very old way of calling shoemakers. I think it may refer to handymans/general repairs too, but I am not sure.
During the first briefing around 1:00 you can see Driver's government emails, and three of them are about speeding tickets, so we can gather that he likes to drive fast.
the elite mercenary pilot looking at their entire squadrons getting pulverized by some federation hillbillies from backwater airbase with jets as old as the federation itself 💀
So, Crimson 1, 5 and 7 are the 3 pilots that survived the Bering Strait mess canonically. Oh, and Crimson 7 seems nice. Shame she is stuck with Crimson 1.
If “The Good Daughter” short story is still canon, Prez DOES have a twin sister name Sybil, but does not seem to be in the Federation and in turn believe Prez is a Federation Soldier and not a merc. It’s also stated that their Grandmother was a former Peacekeeper.
@@ardantop132na6Feels like Crimson 1 are simply looks down on the reservist as he expect them to just drop dead against the Mercs hence why he calls K-9 "dogs", this is further proven that Crimson 1 focusing on telling his squadron to regroup and not thanking K-9 while Crimson 7 does the thanking.
Depending on POV, it's more we're playing as Osea, whereas the previous one it's like we're mercenary that instead of being hired by Ustio or Osea, hired by Belka.
When there is an Ace Combat game set in the first years of aviation (early 1900s), that is the best opportunity to let players play the Belkans so everyone sees why Belkan Air Force used to be feared so much.
Narratively speaking, if the main game was the opposite of what the average Ace Combat experience was, this DLC is exactly how every Ace Combat starts. Motley crew is gathered to save the day and beat up the baddies.
Meanwhile sleeper waifu Crimson 7 is actually a pilot, and has good manners to boot, actually thanking Division K-9. Shame she probably dies in the prospero dogfight.
I don't know if you will make a video about it, but there was an update Project Wingman posted on Steam regarding the future of the game. All the news sounds pretty good
To be fair... TECNICALLY speaking, Cascadia was the one who started the war by wanting to be Independent from the Federation, and it is also the Federation's fault for scalating the comflict until it came out of control. Cascadia is not 100% innocent of any wrong doing, since they were ones in charge on behalf of the Feds to destroy the Mercenary Cabal in Oceania 15 years ago, amoung other things that we don't know. Pretty much is like a very gray area, still... the Feds ended up becoming the villains after what they did in Prospero.
Lets see what we got here, We really are the bad guys now New wiafu Starting from inside the hanger thats cool So you play rear guard right after Cold War Whats the point of a single boss health bar that does nothing the entire time? Maybe its just the capture card but everything looks to bright. I wonder do you stay the bad guys are do you switch sides after the first turn a city orange event?
wait... does this take place after the events of what happened in Orgeo- I mean Ose- damn it. Cascadia? That or just the time line of the K-9 squadron is behind the main protagonist of the campaign. That would explain the regions that were held by Cascadia. Until doomsday started. I.E. the last mission of the campaign. Am I getting that right.
