It’s funny how this progresses: Allies find a Fed target, scramble intercept, Feds scramble planes, Allies scramble more planes, Fed scramble _more_ planes, Allies scramble _even more_ planes, Feds scramble _every plane of each of their client states_, and Allies launch the Sicarios. This is literally how EVE Online’s Battle of B-R5RB became the ridiculous engagement that it was.
@@ervineonline Also, in the debriefing? I counted out how many planes you managed to shoot down. I'm not fucking kidding when I say this: Your kill count was 69. _Nice._
In ace combat 6 you actually have to fight more targets at once than in PW mission 11, that game is underrated af, and another thing... you were ALONE, literally 1vs70
@@Attaxalotl I honestly had more fun with PW than AC7. Although, the multiplayer was fun while it lasted. If they added multiplayer, dlc, or co-op to PW it would be so amazing.
You see, they had transports. So we sent interceptors. And they sent interceptors to intercept our interceptors. And we sent interceptors to intercept their interceptors. And they sent... And we sent... EVERYTHING.
The most advanced conventional fighter craft in existence, piloted by the best of the Federation... Shot down by what basically amounts to a plane sized rifle XD. I love it, honestly. Cant out turn a gun pod.
I actually tried this with all the modifiers on, but my game was lagging a lot. But yeah, it was crazy for sure. When I upgrade my computer I will try to revisit Project Wingman.
@@ervineonline Zero moment lmao, though unfortunately to the dude out yachting while Pearl Harbor the sequel happens I always have like some incentive to shoot the poor guy lmao
So he can carpet bomb the furball obviously. He literally just has to fly over and jettison everything and he'll probably take out 5 or 6 aircraft... hopefully the right ones :P
It's technically the main objective of the mission. The transports are filled with personnel that have experience fighting Cascadia. They didn't want them going back to the Federation and have them share their experiences. I felt Monarch would be distracted by the furball that he might have let them go, but they should be taken out imo.
@@Loser-jh3tq Uh, let me clarify. The green pods in between the UGBs are the gun pods. The total ammo is 1,200, but you can fire them with the MG so it helps a bit. The SMs are tucked in the middle of the UGB. The MLAAs are on the belly. Sorry for the misinformation, I hadn't played the game in a while.
I think they got distracted by the other jets, but not sure. I was out of the main fight a bit at the start. I remember trying this mission with all the modifiers on and that was hell. XD
