Flux probably Hydrochloric Acid, used by sheet metal workers to remove galvanising prior to soldering. Good on metal but houldn't be used on PC boards due to difficulty in cleaning off after use.
I'm just staring at the video, noticing that you didn't plug back in the wires to the battery, and wondering how long it's going to take for you to realize that.
Baz I quick repair on battery charger it may be caused by dirty connection on the Positive clamp,I wonder why the Positive connection corrodes and not the the Negative,I noticed the noise from next door dogs I guess they good watch dogs,Regards Ian,
@@techobaz55 Yes Baz they are nuisance my neighbour next door used have dogs they used drive me mad but at the Moment they have got rid of them so it very peaceful.Ian
