Welcome to my vlog for "Project Dress a Girl 2023" a challenge that invites you to sew a dress for a little girl in extreme poverty somewhere in the world. It is a sewing charity event created by Mari Sews, it runs for the month of September, and the goal is to dress as many girls as possible that are living in extreme poverty around the world. We’re giving them dignity and showing them that they matter.

The dress is gorgeous, a little girl is going to be over the moon happy with it. The label on the front shows that the child is under the protection of an organization to deter human trafficking

You’ve made a gorgeous dress with that lovely embroidery, Jess! 💞 You might want to add a skirt lining to ensure that the skirt isn’t transparent. I hear that the ambassadors aren’t able to donate dresses that are and they’re tossed in the bin! It would be quite sad to think that particular dress would wind up that way.

Jess nice dress. You may want to line the dress to ensure it is not see thru. Thru the camera it looks see thru.not completely. But if you put your hand behind and can see your hand either clearly or shadow a lining is needed. Have fun
