A Hexagonal prism has one of its rectangular faces parallel to the HP it's axis is perpendicular to the VP. and 3.5cm above the ground .draw it's projections when the nearer end is 2cm in front of the VP. Sides of the base 2.5cm long,axis 5cm long. Sir please explain this question there is doubt Of this ....

Sir here in the first step we should take base is on hp...before going to second step so, if we take in that way then top view becomes front view...and vice versa is that correct...???

Here axis is inckined to VP therefore keep the base on VP and then try to work out from where the true shape of base can be visualized. That is obviously from the front and hence we start by FV.
