Hi. Easy way. Check blocking mosfet. Then charging mosfets. Then check phase pin on BQ ic. Then check u got 6v at the regen pin. If missing replace Bq.
Quite some labour removing the BQ chip amd placing it back when its not faulty, more ideal to just inject minding the maximum voltage to inject amd avoid burning the BQ chip or any related component
