Awesome you respected the time it takes to get that field done!👍👍 The guys here tear up my kids school field bad and every two weeks me and some other volunteers help the old guy clean it up and mow and trim and lay seed and fix all the trenches the guys dig with their 1/5 scales. 👍👍 Just put a set of lockup x belted on my xmaxx . I love them! So light also! Just joined your channel as well been meaning to but kept spacing it. Great video bud.

These tires look promising!!! I’m waiting for my set to come into my local shop. I usually only run the stock XMaxx tires on my XMaxx. I’ve always felt they’re the best tire/wheel option due to weight. They look awesome on the DBXLE. I’m running Powerhobby twister fans on my Spektrum 780kv can in the Kraton. It’s keeps things very cool!!! 👊👊👍👍

I currently have some Proline Badlands and this looks like a decent next set. I drive on both pavement and rocky/dusty terrain, and these look perfect for me.

Its awesome to know that those tires arent god awefully heavy even with them being so tall, maybe eventually ill have to order some 24mm hex adapters and those tires for my CEN reeper, i went for smaller tires but of i go bigger than stock i think those might be one of my best option. Either that or the 1/5 duratraz sc style tires

Always a good time in the home stomping grounds sir.. So what's up with the HW's esc cutting out during sessions?? I've heard and read this in multiple videos and forums.. Castles esc and motor sensored system and data logging is awesome..it records everything volts temps rpms throttle control..your going to be blown away by what it records and how efficient you can set up your RC with the programing while hook to you PC.. I prefer the castle line..more money but definitely worth every penny in the long run IMHO. Plus their motors have metal sealed bearings in thier motors then the rubber ones in HW.. less resistance with the all metal bearings..I see that you run alot of Pro- line tires. They are good tires. Don't get me wrong. But wondering whats ur take on the Duratrax tire line. They got belted and good tread patterns. I run the 6-pack on my "MERV" with tons of grip. And will probably throw them on the restoration of a duratrax maximum mt I'm doing. Wondering what your opinion is 🤔 Or anyone who reads this opinions.. As always sir WELL DONE👍👍👍

I'm afraid of castle after my Xlx2 died on me in 2 weeks it it was the most recent batch but they got crazy powwwwwaaaah!!! Haven't seen nobody with the masher x on xmaxx yet... Curious... Great video as usual 🍻

That's mad cash you put into the dbxl. I just ordered a 18t pinion for mine I want different tire setup. Haven't decided yet. We will see if the 18t pinion blows the stock tires.

kold kutter ice studs will help you tear up less grass. Seems counter intuitive, but I was ruining my backyard with my baja flux, with the studs it barely leaves a mark. no tire spin= less damage

The max 5 has a voltage cut off that I would try turning it down or turn it off as it seeing a drop in battery voltage cutting off I found a 9500 mah battery work as a min battery voltage reserve 75c min good luck or like you said castle doesn’t cut like hobbywing 👍👍

Tires are great despite being glue ons. As far as the Xlx2....... I'm on my 2nd and its done. Lasted 2 days. I've heard all these stories of legendary data logs but seeing is believing. In my experience they are buggy and prone to fires. With that said I own prolly 15 castle combos. No issues. Only the large scale have failed me. Love your channel....especially your Creepy. Cheers

I'd like to try the castle system but, between the horror stories and my brothers own experience, I don't trust castle. I want a more powerful esc than the max 5, but choices are kind of limited. In the current build of my dbxl-e 2.0, it weighs 37 lbs. and everything gets hot. I have a 3.5 " 12v 11,500 rpm fan for it, just have to figure out how to mount it and also figure out where to mount the extra batt for the fan.

Don't. Both of my XLX2 ESCS in my Outcast 8s and EXB K8S the bullets on the battery side came off for from the board. I sent them back to Castle and will see what they say. Not a good bashing ESC. For speed runs they are great. But not for 26ft plus jumps into the air

Yeah just make sure it’s powered from the battery feeding the negative side of the Esc.

Wow that bottom of the chassis it well abused...I bugged proline for months a year ago to make these i sent them constant emails to make the 3.8 version of the mashers for the xmaxx least something came out it 🙄

500 AMPS!? I work on industrial air compressors that are 250+ HP at 480 volts 3 phase that don't pull that under full load! Granted that 500A is probably at launch, in comparison the 250 HP compressor will pull 1000+A at startup.

It's definitely the powerhobby lipos. They are absolutely junk. I invested in like 5 of them and I had issues with all of them. They cut out In just about all my rigs. I don't have any cutting out problems when I run different batteries. I'm running the 9200mah 120c zeee premium lipos in my dbxl with max5 800kv combo and so far so good. I'd bet anything it was those lower mah/c rating power hobby lipos. I hate them. I have 5 paper weights now at 50$ a pop
