Nicky is phenomenal.Incredible musician,incredibly versatile,and an incredibly beautiful ,natural,compassionate,emphatic ,enthusiastic person.A role model for a musician in the 21st century.
She's relaxed, she's feeling the music, she's with the group and a leader. I love that she embodies the words she uses in her work with the Foundation. Brava!
This piece is so interesting and yet I have the feeling I don't have any idea what it is really saying or expressing........ But still I feel moved and inspired to listen again. That's the mark of great art, it draws your attention and makes you want expand yourself through immersing yourself in it.
Yes she is my favorite too. Her embodoment of the music has changed my musical life completely. I also enjoy TwoSet violin and wonder why she has not been at least mentioned on one of their videos (at least not that I have seen). I really got more interested in Violin Concerto repertoire through TwoSet and then discovered Nicolas Recitals as a result. It's an absolutely amazing world of music I've been missing out on.
