He's so interesting. Even when he's boring, he's captivating. It's like he knows something that other people don't and hints at it with whatever he's saying. Like he has a secret that's always changing.
Yes Fassbender's was the stand out performance in this movie out of all the actors, altho Noomi did really come into her own, after the med pod scene. Fassbender was playing a android mimicking humans to near perfection, at the sametime as observing exactly how human beings act, and then later learning that he does not even wish to b human. I cant wait to see how further they can go with his character in the future sequel(s).
Usually he's not like this in interviews. He's mostly hyped and in good humour. He's probably had a load of a day during that interview. You can't blame the man when he's wanted so badly by the press.
most people don't watch indie films or films that are off the radar .Which is alot of the stuff he's done .Secondly the biggest buzz before this about the guy .Was from him in shame for obvious reasons ."He's at his peak in so many different roles "so your saying his best performances are behind him ?
I love him, I really do, but he needs to cut back on the "sort of" and "you know".... It's starting to bug me... but maybe that's because I listened to way too many of his interviews!
I noticed that other actors try to play a human trying to act as a robot, but Fassbender's performance was different, he did a robot trying to be a human.
It was just poorly thought-out. I know everyone likes to gripe about "plot holes" in every movie they see (I personally don't care unless something onscreen directly contradicts previous information), and I didn't really care about that in this movie. My problem was it seemed sloppy and written with intentions of a sequel. You should never write a movie with the concept of a continuation in mind. You should write it as it's own self-contained piece, and they didn't really do that.
how? from what i got from the end of the movie that was the first alien...i'm pretty sure when they created humans they were just testing their biotechnology. same as the planet in the movie is a facility for manufacturing the black liquid. and then obviously something went wrong and they decide to scrap the project and were going to abandon the facility and destroy what they had created on earth. that's the best i can guess for now at least. hopefully there's a sequel.
Future Androids will be more bio-organic than mechanical. Still void of Human spirit, but capable of reasoning and compassion (input and programming accordingly).
well, I've been to Ireland but I think Fassy's "you know" are above average! It's amazing how different he speaks when he is in a movie though, in every way. His normal phrasing slips in a bit here and there (in Magneto for example), but only if you look for it.
