The Maria ending was sad enough, the song that goes with that ending in the credits makes me want to ball. Then you have this amazing version, and it is on piano. Which makes the song even sadder. :(((((( I love this dude.

THIS SONG SUCK!! now that i got you're attention ;p this song is soo beautiful...and this song is really touching for me , most people will probably won't understand and will just laugh at this comment but the day my favourite dog died...before he died i made a *promise* that he's gonna live and not die...and i was wrong...the day later he died i live with regret knowing i was wrong with my promise and after i found out he died i turned on my ipod and decided to listen to myuuji because his music always cheers me up an just before i decided to pick a song ...their it was the song *promise* came on..just this song always sends a nice chill (:

I came here to reminisce about all the creepypastas I heard when I was young, the sleepless nights from them.. Good times :')

I know this rendition of this song is popularly used in creepypastas, and obviously from a horror game but it hits me right in the feels when I hear it. It really invokes a deep reflection of myself and who I am today. I don't know what it is about the melody, even as simple of a chord progression it follows, but it invokes feelings that make me reflect on my past, specifically choices and mistakes I've made. It really makes me ponder on all the what-ifs in my life, along with all else that could have been had I chosen different paths along the way.

Still haven't found a better game.

This has got to be the saddest, most relaxing music to ever exist. It has this melancholy that makes me want to stay in bed all day and has this calm yone that makes it easy for me to sleep. A masterpiece.

I spent ages looking for this song. I’ve heard it in the background of so many Creepypastas and didn’t know the name of it. This really touches my heart 💜

Silent hill 2 is truly a (Stand alone game), it's story on the surface is creepy, but then you learn that this is not a (Black/White) story. it's many different shades of grey. it's charters are based on real life struggles. This game tackles some dark material, Murder, death, child molestation, suicide etc. I recommend most folks to play it, it's not just a game, but a message on how you deal with life. Either rise above or be consumed by the monsters. DAM this game was symbolic. it just sucks most call of duty kids, nowadays will never play it.

Outstanding cover of this amazing cult classic, without loosing its original spirit. Not the easiest song to transpose on the piano I think, given the messy structure of the original, but I love the chords you came up with during the second part of the main solo. You really respected the tone and mood of the Silent Hill universe, kudos for that! I just released an arrangement for 4 guitars on my channel, should anyone be interested in hearing an acoustic guitar version.

Silent Hill 2 is one of my favourite games ever. I wish one day I'll be able to direct a movie based on this beautiful story, because I've been thinking about it since I was 14 (now I'm 27) and I even tried to write a script for it. It would be awesome to use this version of "Promise" in the most important parts of the story, because it's so moving and intense. Congratulations for your great work on this cover 😃
