July 2012 - Quite literally I had shown Heather and Chip this song to see if it would work as a song for the band. They were both delighted with the song and the raw sexual energy it embodied. We ran through it a couple of times in my home studio before we hit record button. Using just one Blueberry mic we recorded this version simply to see what we were working with. The band would never go on to finish a studio album, due to me being unavailable after purchasing the bar. This song was one of a few where no studio version exists. There was a live recording, but that is not much to listen to sound quality-wise.
Earlier this year, I found this rehearsal "demo" and began work to see if I could make it salvageable enough to release as a quasi-studio recording once I added some embellishments. I would later on discover the AI tool LALAL.AI that allowed to separate the vocals from the guitar and djembe. That allowed me to correct the mix and add bass, other percussion and strings. Maybe this song will still see its day in the studio. In the meantime, I'm glad to share this version. ~William
