I always felt intrigued about others writing to someone they didn't know these handwritten elegant letters, anonymously, without ever knowing what they're going to be about and what response they will get. Sort of " pen-pal ish " . Then I realize, ironically, I'm writing a comment to someone I really don't know and expect a video I don't know what's it going to be about... So, If you ever feel the need to write, I'm your guy. Sad for this digital age though, I would have loved to see your elegant cursive.. who knows. Happy birthday and keep shining.

Hi Emma, Happy birthday, first of all! But I just wanted to say that 24 is a good year. I'm 26 (turning 27 this year) and 24 was my favourite. 25 was pretty good too and 26 isn't too bad so far (except for that white hair I found in my eyebrow ON my 26th birthday!). What I'm essentially saying, in a roundabout way, that 24 is still young. There's a lot of societal pressure out there about THE CLOCK and ticking off your milestones in a particular order, but the point about your life is that it is yours. You are the person living it, so don't worry about what you haven't done by a certain age, but think about what you have, even the small things like perfecting a certain recipe are pretty impressive. Just some big sisterly advice if you want it. I love the idea of these promises and I'm definitely going to try some of these myself! Have a wonderful day and can't wait to see what you do with this year xx

It’s been a hard few years. It feels like so much growth has been stunted. You’re doing ok. Take some breaths. You’ll be OK. I feel so much guilt about raising a 3 year old where a majority of her life has been during a pandemic. She’s hardy. She’ll be OK. We’re resilient. We need to be easier on ourselves.
