By opening you mean when shit starts properly at 4m50s? It is epic when you are from the 90ies and he opens with this rework, as close as News Years Eve '98 to '99 in the Engergiehal at midnight when we entered 1999 on the original. Good times!

This is a real breath of fresh air seeing Promo on black. Half of me is wondering if hard dance is on the cusp of starting to recede and go underground again. I'd be so happy if it were. What a fucking legend. I've been a Promohead since I randomly stumbled on his set from sensation black... 2004 I think. I wasn't really ready for hardcore yet as a style back then but I was like "Damn this is some cool shit, I'm coming back to this when I can appreciate it." He's such an OG legend keeping the old kicks and theatrics alive and mixing it with new fire from guys like NV. o7 to the max degree.

What an fantastic set! Bit sad to see that some of the crowd gets excited only with hardcore on + 180bpm... Modern fans (rawstyle, uptempo and frenchcore fans) don't appreciate the true hardcore which can also be slow.

🥴This Set was soooo outstanding🥴 From track to track it was more and more heartwarming and an explosion of feelings..It throws me back trough 19 years of being addicted to Hardcore at this time..I had to cry while dancing and sometimes I stood there and felt like being in my youth agian...with my headphones and my Walkman or Discman and listen to Hardcore to forget all the problems and sadness.. But I cried because my heart felt soooo soooo lovely and it felt so light.. I can't explain what's goin' on in my heart and mind while being there,at this opening.. But it opened up a world to me, that is sooooo warm and love full and I can't wait to have this feelings and emotions again at the next festival... Promo,this was the best hour from all the festivals I have been. Thank you for your kind of wonder of being talented and makin' music.Your music have a special value to me.
