I was 15 when I started to learn guitar, 16 when I found Prong in 86............... fast forward a year and started to get into playing in a band.... PRONG was the sound I went for, will always remember hunting for that sound. easy one of the best bands out there.
We share a very similar backstory with this band, and, as a result, share the same regard for them.

Totally Agree with you. But you know? it happens that many people never heard of them or got late into his music. So their music never fully xploted. Totally out of time. Prong always were one step ahead. That was the sound many bands were looking for back in 90's it includes my own band back in 1993 i was 12 but my band mates where 17. I always thought that without Prong, nu metal and many 90's metal bands would never exist. Greetings from Mexico my friend!
First band I was ever in was called "Terrormony" 1985-86 Virginia Beach Virginia. I remember riding around with the band in the guitar players banged up little car and Paul (drummer) had first two Prong cassettes "Force Fed" and "Beg to Differ". We covered the song "Steady Decline". We only played 5 shows. I was maybe 16. cut to 25 years of life happening and I find myself living in Reno, Nevada and the band I was singing for at that time was "Envirusment" we were asked to open the Testament/Prong show. Tommy was cool as shit to hang out with. Gave him our CD and that was that. but then I bump into him at N.A.M.M. in Cali. and he saw me from across the room and yelled "Reno" gave me a hug bump we chatted a bit then headed to the Cow Palace to watch Prong and Exodus play. as I stood next to Doug Pinnick from King's X. Still cant believe any of that happened. T. Victor still bruising things up out there thanks for the great memories.
Only discovered Prong a few months ago and been OBSESSED ever since. Bought a couple of their albums for my parents as well as I feel Prong's music is the ultimate amalgamation of the main styles of metal that my folks raised me to love the most (Thrash and Nü Metal) Hope to see them here in the UK one day 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Cleansing is one of the greatest and best produced records I've ever heard.

Great show! It sound like they deserve to sound. Great great band. The history of metal music has been a little unfair with them in my opinion. I think that they were one of the most innovative band of the latest 80's and 90's but never got into the place they should have. The good news is that they are still playing and it's really nice to keep listening to them. Hailssss PRONG!!!!!
Tommy Victor hasn't missed a beat since he started this thing. His harmonics are so perfect throughout the entire set. Same as when I saw Prong play with Overkill last year. Much love to the band and fans alike!
Great band good to see they are still around saw them twice in the 90s at the Palace Theater in Albany NY once opening for Ozzy on the first No More Tears tour and also opening for Pantera Vulgar Display of Power tour! Crowd loved them and proper head banging audiences!
By far the best sounding, tight Prong concert ever. Best lineup I saw after Art and Jason. Also Wade's salute to Ted by wearing the Godflesh te (and staying true to Ted's versions in the songs}. Yes? Yes Madafakaaaaa !!! 🤣🤣🤣
Tommy Victor makes it looks soo easy… he is such a great musician and very talented. Great video and sound quality on this video.. thanks so much for the many years of awesomeness PRONG.
I drove from Virginia Tech to Washington DC to see this band in 1989 on the Force Fed tour in a TINY club. Practically a closet. But, I was instantly converted into a fan of Prong. Lots of lineup changes over the years, but Tommy Victor is the heart of Prong and one of the most underrated metal guitarists ever. Such a unique sound.
