Do you know what the difference between the Terraincut 1575, 1585 and the older style 1565,1545,1445? Would the attachments work on either of them of is their something special about the Terraincut models that makes them special.

All of these models use the same system for attaching, so physically hooking the snowblower up to the tractor is not a problem. This snowblower uses two hydraulic sets to run the discharge chute and chute rotation. The 1575 and 1585 come standard with two sets in the front, but I'm not sure on older models. If they only have one set, you'd need a field-installed kit to add the second function. The only other question is engine power. This blower was technically designed to run on a 1575/1585, which are identically 37HP Diesel units, but the 1585 has a two-speed transmission (12MPH Ground Speed on the 1575, 15MPH on the 1585). That being said, we've sold one of these blowers on a 1550 TerrainCut, which is only 24 HP Diesel and the customer says it's working great. More testing is needed on models other than the 1575/1585, but it looks promising for lower HP. The blower weighs approximately 600 pounds, and all machines lift it with no problem.

What is the price range of that blower ? or the smaller p-540? Do you need a special hookup kit? different reduction gear box, mounting kit ? or when you purchased the blower could you hook right up to it with the 1585 and go to work?

The blower is approximately $8,500. It comes 100% ready to go and is built specifically for the John Deere Terraincut, so no modification is needed. It does have a gear reduction box to gear down the PTO on the TerrainCut.

When will they make a 48” version for a 1025? Wish we had the budget for a terrain cut.

The 1025R in the US is limited to the weight it can handle because of the Quick Hitch, so until Deere offers the front A-Frame 3 Point hitch on the X7 and 1025R in the US like they do in Europe, I don't think we will pursue any new designs for Quick Hitch mounted blowers. Do some searching online for the "Matev Front Line Systems." What dealers have access to in Europe is a dream come true for U.S. snow equipment dealers.

Nick, do you like this unit or the Normand better on the TC? Thanks!

What model of Pronovost snowblower is this?

Do you sell the reduction gear box separately? or can you only get one if you buy the blower? what company makes that gearbox?

Pronovost supplies the gear reduction, but it's built into the unit and not sold separately for this exact application. Pronovost does offer a ton of different gear reduction boxes for their larger blowers, but this is a unique product. For example, the TerrainCut PTO shafts spins opposite direction of Deere OEM front 2000 PTO's on compact tractors.

@@MetalPlessNick I saw that they only had the 62" blower set up on the TerrainCut unit. Do they or would they be able to make one for the 54" blower to use on the TerrainCut? Most the side walks we do are 5ft or 60" but usually have grass over grown. If you have a few inches to spare then you don't have to hit the sidewalk perfect and not worry about digging up the grass or sprinkler heads on the corners. I know John Deere makes a 47" and a 60" and personally I like using the 47" blower and made extension on the sides out to 54" so it still covers the tire width. so that is why I am asking about the 54" blower. Also say the casing broke or the gearbox ran out of oil without knowing and ruin the gear box to the point its not fixable. Would I then have to buy a whole new blower because they don't sell that part separately.
