All of the girls have also been mistreated in many more ways, it’s sad.

My respects for all of the singers, idols, and k-pop bands going through this. There are some people who had to quit before it got way worse for them and somehow other people (especially BP) are still standing. My respect also goes to people like Shannon Williams who handled it well.

i honestly feel like blackpink like the situation that they’re in rn. like if we really think about it, they’re provided with people who will write all their songs for them, the luxury of getting to travel and party anywhere and whenever they want, getting to do all these brand deals, etc, all without barely lifting a finger in helping with their music production. so many people think that they’re being mistreated but in reality, they’re one of the most privileged groups in kpop, or even the entire industry. they might not have control over their own careers but i don’t think they actually care when they get so much out of it anyways. anyone who actually hates a situation that they’re in and desperately wants to get out of it would do anything that they can to change it, and bp haven’t don’t anything to change it at all.

However, BLACKPINK don't get enough credits for their participation in the songwriting of their songs. This is a fact. For example, Jennie admitted that she wrote Stay in one of the behind the scene video that I found on Twitter. It is clip of one of the BLACKPINK reality show on RU-vid. In that clip, Jennie reveal the reason why she felt very emotional whenever they performed Stay live is that she is the songwriter. Jennie literally cried when performing Stay live. I also found out that after they release As If Your Last, they have an interview. During that interview, Lisa admitted that she wrote the rap verse for As If It Is Your Last. She even said that it is longer than she thought it is. This interview was all over the news in South Korea. During an interview, Tushar Apte one of the producer who work on the BLACKPINK's song, Love To Hate Me, reveal that Danny Chung and Lisa write the rap verse for Love To Hate Me together. 😃 This is what Tushar Apte said during his interview, Question: Was the first draft you submitted instantly approved or did the members share their feedback with you to rework on? Tushar Apte's answer: We pretty much got it right the first time on this! Which isn’t common at all, but of course Lisa and Danny Chung had to go and write the amazing rap verse that really takes the record to a whole different level! However, if you look at their credits for their songs such as Love To Hate Me, you won't find their name on the credit list for some songs.
