I think you're right, sometimes over psycho-analyzing it is a mistake. I realize it is an image oriented profession which brings inherent sensitivities, but the physical effects of high hormonal levels should not be under-estimated when it comes to how people react to perceived challenges.

The lifters in the free weight area always seemed so chill. I'm kinda surprised to see this. Especially when they need to avoid injury in order to pursue that hobby.

my celly was a murderer. he never bragged or talked about it. i only figured out two years later that he killed his gf and this dude for four hundred thousand they ran off with.long story short he found them burnt them alive and turned him self in. with that being said this guy was the most soft spoken and one of the kindest person ive ever met. helped me alot in there, taught me the ropes. helped me into the habit of reading for knowledge and not just to past the time. i hope he doing well.
The biggest barker I am not afraid of, it is the quiet guy, observing and planning I get the creeps about! I never threaten, they bark, that is ok, they act physical, I act. One blow, it is over, depending on where I am and the surrounding , that is how I determine how badly he is going to remember me by! If bullies threaten a weak person, that weak person would not do anything anyway. If you threaten a strong person, nothing is going to happen, unless he feels threatened, then it is lights out! So it is really dumb to threaten anyone. Threaten the wrong guy and your life maybe changed forever!
You can tell you've fantasized about a situation similar to this 😂 😂 being strong has very little to do with being able to defend yourself don't forget that.

Road men in the UK are usually skinny, but can be dangerous, because they tend to carry knives / guns and haven't got the emotional maturity to understand the consequences of their actions.

Now that ive been boxing and grappling for about 2 years now i dont get intimidated by the big muscle guys. I know my cardio/conditioning and movement is way better. The fit and slim guys are a lot harder to deal with in sparring and on the mats.
This is actually a dangerous way of thinking. 2 years is the perfect amount of time to think you're a lot better than you really are. Been there done that. Stay humble, stay safe.
Years bouncing and dealt with a few Body builders, any HINT OF attitude and I’d talk to them. Most don’t want trouble and a reminder that they will be choked out goes a long way. “Be cool big guy!! I’d hate to have to drag you out the door by your feet!” USUALLY most of them are 5’8” and under all arms, zero speed or flexibility. Easy to choke from behind and drag as anyone else.
Going into a particular arena, asking people questions that you know will trigger them, then getting fake surprised when they are triggered is very confrontational, passive aggressive and weird.
Big talkers ain’t scary they’re basically telling you what they want to do so in essence you already have your guard up and watch out for it but the quiet ones, oh I’d watch out for the quiet ones they won’t tell you shit they just do.
I've heard that's often it! I've somewhat been blessed with some natural juice in my system to put on muscles with very little training and eating almost anything I want somehow, but I've noticed that whenever I get stronger and feel unstoppable inside my testosterone seems to go up and I get triggered a lot easier. I've tested it out over the years and it's not worth getting into more drama in life, so I just barely workout anymore and don't let myself get as strong. So I could only imagine that juicing would put others in far more rage than to have natural testosterone problems. It seems like testosterone is to most men what hypergamy is to all women. There's a trade off to everything in life and not all of it is good or fair 😓
They always want to get a reaction out of you to know they can push your buttons which gives them a sense of control. I stay calm and face them and call them out on their statements by saying.. "I'm right here... you say this and that but won't follow through with it. "
There’s some people who love to fight. Those guys looked like they were on gear. It was interesting to see the non-muscular guy trying to separate them.
Initially, I always take any potential kinetic situation seriously. Always looking for a way out or,if that choice is unavailable, look for standard size up and offensive plan. Of course allowing for situational fluidity.
I once intervened in a bout of bullying that was going on inside a bookmakers. I reversed something he said and put it on him which made him really angry. He was twice my size and he could have snapped me like a twig. He was also a Marshall arts instructor. I stood in front of him whilst he ranted and picked up chairs to threaten me with and all the time I looked into his eyes and I smiled. After about a minute of this he left. My thinking was , he's an instructor, with a license that is gone if he touched me. so who had the real power?
When people start repeating, they're going into fight mode, so that's a good sign to step away from arms reach, don't turn your back but remove yourself from the situation if you can because you know it's coming
Brought back a memory from living in a total sink hole estate, I mean real bad news, home invasions etc. It was almost exclusively cowards who hunted in packs and hid behind the local OC family. One of my friends was hit with the "do you know who my uncle is?" line and quick as a flash replied "Julian Clary?" but it went over their heads and they were like "who?".
The real issue with these bodybuilders in the video is their personality. They're clearly on the cluster b spectrum. I'd watch videos on RU-vid put out by Dr. Les Carter or Dr. Ramani if you want to understand about narcissism. The way to avoid ego battles is to realize giving an emotional response to a narcissist is fuel to the narcissist's ego. Narcissist are insecure at the core of their personality. That's why they like to compete with you in every way imaginable.

Anyone who has used steroids understands this situation. When I was on a cycle, I would just go around HOPING someone would look at me wrong LOL. These guys are very easy to piss off!
Oh my, the "murderer" is still in his teens 😅. But on the other hand, I don't like too much the way the guys doing the "experiment" handle the situation, specially the tall guy saying "why are you touching me?" Like what? Just say "ok thanks for your time and walk away" clearly the dude was mad and offended so just leave him alone. Then of course Mr. Assassination shows up and make everything just a Karen mess. It's pretty common to find guys that think they can intimidate you just because of height, muscle or even tattoos (imagine investing a lot of money on tattoos mainly to try and scare people 😮💨) Good stuff as always!!

Not JUST ego... a lot of ot is " Roid Rage." When I was in the Marines, we did steroids, and we were literally best friend fighting best friend for NOTHING. They make you overly aggressive and stupid.

@nathanielovaughn2145 You're assuming that they were following a strict cycle and not slamming as much as they can. It also affects everyone differently. Many steroid users can't accept the size they lose when cycling off, so they continue using at the same dose whether they admit it or not. There is definitely rage that goes along with steroids

It's stupid, rude and ultimately pointless to walk up to professionals who are at events trying to promote products and services and ask them to submit to medical exam. Especially since body builders can gain water weight or lose it in the span of a half hour just by eating something salty, drinking or stepping in a sauna. They are trying to work, and you're stopping them from earning a living. This isn't the flex you think it is.
They get more and more furious every time they their pathetic attempt at intimidation fails. But tough guy simmered down real quick when he came up against someone who seemed like they were willing to fight. Lol 😂
Those guys obviously work out just to look intimidating because they are insecure, because they're not training their bodies for any specific activity or sport such as fighting or swimming. It's all for show. They're like puffer fish that puff up to appear intimidating. In a fight they would tire very quickly.
