Thank you for this video, Alex! Though there are several strategies to get a first client, I notice it all comes down to shaking off the fear of putting yourself out there. What’s the worst thing that could happen? Some potential clients might say “no” (and politely, I may add), yet all of them now know you’re ready to offer your copywriting services and can even refer you. Kudos to these students!

Thank you. This was exactly what I was looking for. I appreciate the affirmation that there is less of a necessity for original posting on LinkedIn. I just want to write copy and have so little motivation to pursue social media, but I'm accepting the value of utilizing a platform like this.
I like you strategy about following them and subscribing to their list. I'm an ecom email marketer and I do these 2 steps, I've noticed they make a lot of mistakes in their emails and I can definitely help But i Don't know how to approach them, like what do i say? "You email is bad" backfired 😂 So I'm nervous, can you help a little bit Alex?
@@allinsoccer4542 You should learn how to cold email then, and if you don't want to then just hire one. Personally I have learned it and its not too hard.
Yeah, I definitely would not suggest telling them their email was bad! Instead lead with value and explain why you love their company, how you can help make their life easier, etc.
I love the B.A.E. strategy, and am enjoying the opp to come out of my shell. I have a fear that it will just take too long, but if I'm hunting gathering and planting seeds along the way, I know I'll be surprised!
