Hi, please could you offer some advice for my current status. Myself and my girlfriend of 5 years (not married or living together) have both been offered ITA's on our individual EE applications. I have been studying for the last 5 years and do not have the required funds in my bank accounts for proof of funds. However my girlfriend has been working full time and has more than enough for both of us in a savings account. If we were to change this account into a joint account, would this be accepted as proof of funds? If not, would we have to transfer the required money into my account and class it as a gift? Please help us, we are very worried about this messing up our chances.

What u can do for gold is u can mortgage that and whatever amount u receive after mortgage. U can show as fix deposit that will work and u do not need to mention that. U can say as savings or borrowed from family or friends.
