@@trappytripod I did so what? If Gentei Kaijo had been in place Isshin would've brought it up during the fight. Even if he wasn't authorized he would've asked to remove the limiter. Isshin was about to destroy White when Aizen intervened there is no way a captain at 20% can beat a Menos lvl Hollow like White.
@@primexample8912no they do rember ganju invented his own type of kido, Kukaku as a non combatant could effortlessly use kido up to 68 i think and Kaien was called a prodigy and monster. He was also the youngest lieutenant until gin showed up. He finished the academy in 3 or 4 of the 6 years
One of the most understated moments in the series was that pressure flick, it was the moment Aizen realized Isshin was on a level near himself which says a LOT considering base Aizen was the closest captain to Yamamoto in spiritual pressure; Isshin is a powerhouse monster
Except Aizen literally stated Isshin would have to use Bankai, and not just Isshin, he was talking about Captains in general, which means he was also talking about Shinsui, Unohana, and potentially even Yamamoto, and not just in the Human Realm where they would be sealed. None of them can beat White without using their Bankais, so this White was already stronger than Stark, Barragan and Hallibel, which isn't saying much since they're all fodder anyway, but still, White is at least almost equal to Isshin in peak form.

Also cause his Bankai is extremely taxing on spiritual pressure and, I believe, the physical body too. So an injury like that, that makes it hard for him to focus his spiritual pressure and weakens his back would not only make it difficult for him to use Bankai, but could also make it dangerous to himself to use. Unfortunate to have a bankai you can't use while injured. Not really a get out of jail card if being in jail makes it impossible to use

Yeah Soi Fon said "Captain class" but Captain class includes the Lieutenants. It curiously doesn't(or didn't?) include notable fighters outside those ranks such as Ikkaku.
A lot of people downplay Ikkaku’s bankai. The only reason he barely won in his fight is because he’d already sustained so much damage. That coupled with the fact that his riatsu was already diminished made it seem as though his bankai might be fairly weak when in reality, it’s an impressive power type that was fragile due to Ikkaku’s depleted riatsu. If he’d used it from the beginning, seeing as how he was able to beat Edrad fairly quickly after the activation of it, he probably would’ve won with little to no damage. It’s also implied that he’s a captain class fighter because fighters such as Renji (who he trained) acknowledged that he should be named the next captain after the defection of Aizen, Tosen and Ichimaru.
@SCP_BrightAlt no he's correct, you're referring to the seal that caused him to give up his powers for his wife... This is talking about the seal that is placed to limit all captain and Lt's overwhelming spiritual pressure to not harm the mortal world. Two completely different seals.

@SCP_BrightAltactively not… unless Gentei Rein didn’t exist what, 17, maybe 18 years ago in verse, Isshin’s power would have been sealed while he was fighting White. It then later got sealed Harder keeping his wife alive and White on a firm Leash, but that just means dude got locked down two different times under two different contexts.
I feel as though the Gentei Kaijo was erased when he also lost all his soul reaper powers, so when he gained them back, he was at full power when fighting Aizen.

ofc it was a lot thats why aizen cut him so he cant fight white. and we know that gilian (weakest menos grande) are already captain level (base no shikai).. then there are adjuchas who are easily captain shikai or even bankai level and then we have vasto lorde who are minimum cap bankai level and even toshiro with 2 vizards struggled a lot agains water type 3rd espada and white was synthetic but still vasto lorde class and yet without bankai isshin was able to fight him but couldnt win without bankai at 20% of his power.. isshin was probably one of the strongest shinigami in whole bleach history

I think I'm the only one but I feel ikkaku would have been automatically suppressed as well. Doesn't make sense for them to use the limiter solely based on one's titles but to be automatically placed on individuals that have a certain level of power
Him using only 20% of his full power makes no sense. They specifically show who has the seal on them more than once and Ikkaku does not have one. Ikkaku barely beat Edradd using bankai while Toshiro was struggling in bankai against Shawlong , who didn't even resurrect yet. Ikkaku 100% didn't have a seal.
@Shaneo0oo I 100% agree and concede that ikkaku didn't have a seal, but for SS to seal captains and lieutenant just on title and not strength. Other than his showing against ichigo what says that ikkaku is not lieutenant level in power, if not low captain

@Shaneo0oo Toshiro was holding back far more than just Gentei Rei. Remember, in the SS arc, it was established that if he goes all out in Shikai, it's enough that he might accidentally kill Vice-Captains within 7 miles. Even at 20%, that's still a 1.4 mile range, and he had multiple allies as well as humans in that range. Toshiro was significantly holding back AND was restricted. Ikkaku was going all out and even shattered his Bankai in his fight. Him being under Gentei Rei makes a lot of sense scaling wise. As for why they didn't show the seal (assuming he had one) it's because he was already out of the picture by that point. Rangiku, Renji, and toshiro were still fighting. They're the only ones who'd need Gentei Kaijo.
It's possible they don't have any. Just because both of their parents have powers doesn't mean they'll get them themselves. Look a Yuzus hair color she probably got that from her great grandparent it skips generations sometimes that's just how genetics work
@@shukei26in universe, I think they do have power, they can see all the spirit bullshit afterall. Maybe not unlocked yet. I mean, Ichigo need Rukia power to activate his own in the first place. In reality tho, I dont think Kubo ever plan to do anything for them, so they might as well dont have any power. Doesnt make any difference.
This seal was mentioned being off and he was at full power in the manga. That is why Aizen needed to cut him, think of it if there powers were "auto sealed" then it would of happened to Aizen and Tosen and Gin, and how did Urahara ever turn his off then?
I've seen a lot of people say he didn't have it cause he left without permission but I doubt that every time a Captain leaves he has to get it put on and removed when he comes back, I think its more like how workers have a name tag that they use but its somehow permanently kept on/inside them when they reach captain or lieutenant level and permission is required only to remove it(I think Omaeda thought it was on when it wasnt during their fight against Barragon which implies he obviously didn't actively go put it on

Tessai is better in Kido and base power than Hachigen but we never see him fight except the past playback... We really needed their battles but there are only so many characters they can show in detail but Isshin being MC's father and shown a lot, his powers are hyped aswell so I really wanted to see him fight
He went through private Senkaimon owned by Shiba family so he never had to go through soul society formalities. He didn't have to apply seal on himself.
@KuroiTenshi19 nah, it's never stated that they always had seals on them. Plus Seireitei didn't even know that Isshin was in world of the living. Plus let's be real, it's too far fetched to say that Isshin could deal with a Vasto Lorde with just 20% of his power.
Isshin was limited during the white fight since limiters are automatic the moment they leave soul society. Meaming he was at 20% power. The reason he doesn't complain about the limiter while fighting white was because there was no way about it. The release of the limiter would take too long. Yes, even though he was on a stelth mission, if he made a call, they would blow his cover since he had suspected foul play in the g13. No, every captain in the g13 can take on menos like white nerfed, not just aizen and yomimoto. In the arroncar arc they explain this fully. Before releasing the seal in the beginning of fight and after release it was stated all they have to do is release the seal by soyfons LT. When soyfon tells him we already did that is when he got worried. Now there are exceptions to the seal one the seal is automatically pulled off once you enter a human body. This was an unintended effect but would only effect substitute soul reapers. This is why the gigi isshin gets removed the seal after and is stated that he lost alot of power while in it. But still took out a power houses stronger then white like grandfisher with out bankia. Also why every time itchigo uses his soulbadge he is then limited to 20 percent as he was limited the whole time he was in hoecomundo. After the release of the seal as he is heading to the human world which takes place around his return. Cause wibboly wobbily timey wimey time traveling the bridge shoot name escapes me but the squad 4 captain noticed while nerfed itchigo only had 10 percent of his power being limited at 20 which if your keeping up was 2 percent of his power was still on the same level as a captain. Meaning at 2 percent he far exceeded her expectations of his power. But while fighting aizen had unintentionally blocked his own power because of trama of it. Even isshen makes note of that when aizen is escaping saying you can sense his power. This is because no captain could at this moment and since itchigo could means he was on aizens level this whole time.... Edit: For people wondering on the soulreapers in hoecomundo they seal is taken off when not in the human world, but again as itchigo is a substitute the badge keeps him nerfed until they release it from the reapers in the human world. Which again when traversing through the Dongia or between spiritual plans there is a time shift between the plans. so all events in hoecomundo are things in the past or future depending on the situation, but considering itchigo was nerfed all the way through hoecomundo, shows as they are walking through the rift he is still seal. Even though itchigo is still nerfed by his quincy side majorly Which actually puts him even stronger then we know eve after dongia itchigo.
Of course his power was sealed, remember he was the one who taught Ichigo "Mugetsu / Final Getsuga". Kinda hinting that he has used it before. It would be nice if Kubo made a series based on his time as a Soul Reaper and how he got his powers back after using Mugetsu.
Think about how restrictive the Captains generally are about using Bonkai at all. I know tbyw is total war, so the limiting factor was the theft aspect… we say a lot to stop the Arrancar but the head captain, as ywach (or how ever it’s spelled said the head captain “stepped aside so Ichigo Kurasaki could fight aisen in order to protect the Seireitei” because obviously even under “perfect hypnosis” Head Captain had aisen beat, and probably not killed but enough th seal… the question was how much would he need to lose in order to stop him… that’s what they were talking about in his final battle… Orihime not fixing his arm?… I wouldn’t be surprised if she offered at least through a proxy and was politely told not to worry about because of how much she cares about everyone and just people… we only see Ichigo meeting him a couple/few times and it’s super specific. When he asked for the body of that full bring (I know parts of the manga were different especially in that bit but it’s been so long since I read it I can’t rennet if it’s anime only which I watched ahead of tybw cour3 … captains are old and so well trained in all the aspects of their special kido hado and whatever… sans a few and hitsugaya is like edge cases of edge cases which is why we saw his incomplete bankai so much.. he was using it before becoming a soul reaper I think? Or at least well before he was supposed to or whatever. Good video made me think about bleach!

So he somehow snuck into the human world without ANYONE noticing with his full powers? That’s BS since there would have been people in the soul society tracking the spiritual pressure in the human world. Unless he somehow decided to suppress it and ONLY unleash it the moment he was gonna perform Bandai (the moment when aizen sneak attacked him) and then decided not to do it.
No Isshin used the Noble House of His families Portal no the Gotei portal. Same as Yoruichi always uses. The Question is why did he go in the first place
While yes he couldn't use bankai because of his injuries, he did not have the gentei kaijo as people believe. As there was no mention of it anywhere in the manga or in the anime and we know that Isshin sneaked of to the world of the living to skirt past his paperwork duties. And gentei kaijo is artificially put on the soul reaper when they are sent to the world of the living, so that their reiatsu does not create problems in the world of the living. If you need any proof then see the fights between the captain and liutenants stationed in the karakura town with grimmjow's fraćione. And also when they appeared to fight the fullbringers in the lost agent arc.
AND JJK FANS KEEP SAYING THEIR CHARACTERS CAN TAKE ON BLEACH CHARACTERS!!! How? Even when mere lieutenants and vice captains can react to light attacks (when the Gillian used that light to beam Aizen and co up) and need to be nerfed just so as not to harm the planet!!! This was mentioned during the fight no? Like he clearly stated he couldn't use his full power. It's been a minute since I read this fight, but he either mentioned it directly or heavily implied to the fact his power was sealed.
Urahara was with Isshin when he was planning on fighting white. Urahara also has the Kido corp captain, Tessai, with him to remove the limitation when fighting white. Most likely, Isshin had a power limitation initially because he didn't suspect that anything was wrong. Later when Urahara proposed his plan I think that Tessai would've removed Isshin's power limitation so that he could defeat white. Tessai would have the ability to do this and he already didn't care about the authority question.
@@shukei26 We were talking about when Isshin fought white to save Masaki, right? Either is possible from this video. The first time Isshin came to the human world he suspected a problem. The second time he came to the human world he didn't suspect a problem but he later found out otherwise and fought White to save Masaki. This all also ignores the fact that some characters are seen removing their restraint themselves, they're merely waiting for permission.

We definitely knew this hence why Aizen slashed Isshin. Isshin knew he didn't get authorization to go to the human world and his power would be "sealed." Isshin had attempted to use his bankai only because he wasn't at full power. White was easy work for him regardless
He didn’t sneak in. There where already many deaths in that area so they sent him he just didn’t get the memo till his Lt told him that why he went by himself to dangerous
That would explain how a 17 year old trainee Quincy like masaki was able to fodderize white unless people believe that a trainee in just her base form is bankai level. I see many people saying isshin left without permission so limiter wasn't placed but are these people deaf or something? Did they not hear that it's automatic activation? Which means it's irrelevant if you get permission or not unless you are Urahara who can open some alternate way to escape.
She didn't fodderise him. She couldn't shoot him and if he wanted to kill her, he'd just cut her down like he did the Soul Reapers. Tosen explained White chose her and transfered his Hollowfication to her before self-destructing, something Isshin saved her from.
@@praz7 she couldn't touch him. The closest she came was her initial attack which caught both White and Isshin by suprise as they weren't aware of her yet. Isshin meanwhile fought him head on, albeit at a disadvantage

i believe urahara removed seal after fighting white or at some point in story after he get his power back since he was able in base form just by flicking finger send aizen through many buildings which is more than ichigo could ever do to aizen before training in dangai XD and even isshin's getsuga was more powerful than ichigos in bankai with mask before dangai
Isshin left without approval or knowledge from the Gotei, meaning he was never restricted as Gentai Kaijo isn't automatically placed on anyone going through the Dangai, just people the Soul Society specifically chooses to restrict. If it was placed on everyone of Lieutenant level strength or above then even people like Ikkaku and most likely even post SS arc Chad would also receive the restriction.
@corruptangel6793 It’s meant to be for anyone of vice captain class strength or above and Ikkaku definitely did not get a seal. We see practically his entire body during his fight with Eddorad and he has no seal, because he's a 3rd seat and not a lieutenant.

@corruptangel6793 Yeah, Gentai Kaigo seems to be a seal that is automatically placed on all vice captains and captains authorized to go through the Dangai. Skipping this authorization process, however means you likely never get the seal. If you did then literally every Visord, Urahara, Yoruichi, Tessai, Aizen, Gin, and Tousen would have also been fighting sealed for a good portion of the story.
@@ShrimpMaster0982 Eh. Urahara is shown in the Lightnovels to be able to remove the seals without authorization. The fact they could seal him out of Soul Society (as shown at the end of the Substitute Soul Reaper arc) implies authorization for travel isn't a factor in whether or not you get Gentei Rei. Especially since any Soul Reaper can open a senkaimon gate at any point with their Zanpakuto. Soi-Fon's comment about it usually being automatic implies there's some kind of barrier they have to pass through when leaving Soul Society that scans them. In fact, that seems confirmed by Ulquiorra when he kidnaps Orihime. He mentions something called "Kôryû" which is some kind of "current" that prevents "unauthorized spirits from entering Soul Society." If it can scan anyone entering, it stands to reason it can do the same for anyone trying to leave. If Ikkaku wasn't automatically sealed, it implies there's some kind of registry that lists who gets sealed when they pass through. Based on what they say, the registry likely only includes the 26 Captains and Vice-Captains.
An Isshin 20 years later who's still shaking off rust pushed Aizen to his limits. After Yamamoto, it's safe to say Isshin was absolutely a threat to Aizen back in his day.

What this short is talking about is the seal that is automatically placed on Lt's and Captains that enter the mortal world. Go back and read the manga and educate yourself man.
Then again Isshin is very strong so he can be able control his reiastu. Aizen, Gin and Tosen went to the world of the living. That's 3 captains They didn't have Gentai Rein Cause if they did the soul society would monitor them
Aizen, Gin and Tosen were wearing cloaks that erase their spiritual presence. Also, Urahara is confirmed to be able to remove the seal at will, so it stands to reason Aizen can too
