This is actually a surprisingly complex psychological banter. Lily’s jokes about how “sweet” her deal was (with hot pockets and all) were genuine expressions of her laziness and unwillingness to come over but logically she knew it made more sense to go to scarra and toast plus toast would never yield. She is also the type that would only be okay accepting favors if the other party was genuine and comfortable with it/the type to spoil so she was just stalling with her weak case, knowing the inevitable was coming or if by some stroke of luck Toast decided to be charitable and accept the little sister energy (like he occasionally does). But it would have to be something he initiates, not out of politeness or pressure. Toast would have preferred to end this pointless discussion long ago but indulged in Lily’s stalling since he knows this is an emotional game. But after five minutes of lily making no progress he hit her with the “guilt trip” that was really just a reality check to poke holes in her logic and remind her she was not going to be fine with having a comfortable night at the expense of two other people. Once she knew the jig was up she yielded fast and doubled down because she would have been the selfish one and was sorry for pushing it and delaying the inevitable. Toast knowing this kept being “polite and thoughtful” to use reverse psych as a “revenge” for her meek attempts to make them pity her and bc of the wasted time. If he pushed hard enough Lily would be increasingly concerned he was being legit, so he did this to drive home she “lost” the power dynamc. Her steak request was her “making up” with toast and saying that at least he should treat her right for taking the trip over, finally no longer beating round the bush. I really just spent all that time writing down things that would be obvious to an OTV watcher but it’s just interesting that this playful psychological warfare only works because they are who they are. Scarra vaguely understood what was going on but not to the extent of Toast. And to people who backseat these streamers friendships, they’d know even less about what’s going on. Tldr context always matters.
They mention having to walk to the other side and that it's cold outside, so through context clues I can assume there are at least 2 structures on the same property. Maybe connected by an outside walkway.
I believe Lily and John live in a separate “guest house” area that’s like it’s own apartment on the far side of the house. They have their own living room and small kitchen and stuff.
@@gotmyselfsometrouble7973 I’m not sure. I would assume it’s both a way to give the couples space from each other, and also give them space to be together where they don’t have to be super quiet if you catch my drift.
