I'm usually the type of person, who doesn't ship idols, because most of the times, to me there's nothing obvious about them being 'lovers' or anything like that. I just don't ship idols easily unless I feel that they have something special. I used to be a huge vminkook shipper in the past, because honestly they 3 just had many cute moments, but although I used to ship them, deep on the inside I never felt like they were lovers or anything of the like, they just have a really strong friendship to me. Also I never understood the hype around taekook, I used to ship taekook but deep on the inside, I never understood the hype, to me they just seemed super close and seemed to be friends. I just felt like people exaggerate it a lot. My interest in taekook quickly dissolved especially after taehyung himself told the fans to stop shipping taekook, it was clear that he never liked it and didn't like being shipped with Jungkook. After a while I got to know about chanbaek, at first I thought it's just another hyped up ship, I didn't see anything special in them at the start, I thought to myself, they're just another ship that's super exaggerated and people are just too delulu about it. I got interested in chanbaek anyways, and started digging into what the craze was all about, I watched many videos and checked out many evidences, and boy was I shocked? Yes, it was the first time I actually started gaining interest in a ship, and thought myself that chanbaek seem to be much more than just friends. The evidences were so obvious, to me they were not like other ships, it's not all about fan service when it comes to chanbaek. They try to hide it, and that's what's suspicious about them. After watching this video, I just felt my heart beating like crazy, and I don't think I'm delulu or anything like that, I thought about everything from different perspectives, but chanbaek is just too obvious, it's either one way or the other, and the other doesn't make sense, so you go with one way. I know there's many 'possibilities', but like I said, chanbaek make it too obvious, and I can't think of any other possibility when it comes to them. I find it a little hard to think of them as 'just friends' due to the way they behave. This behaviour, in my opinion, doesn't just arise like that, or just because they're friends, to me it indicates there might be something else. Chanbaek in conclusion, just doesn't feel like any other k-pop ship I've ever encountered, they're different, to me they're on the next level. At the end, I just hope they're happy, in one way or the other.

I followed them since the beginning. I also used to think they were doing fanservice but they looked so cute that I shipped them. They used to talk about each other a lot and was clingy in public. But since 2014, they have started acting weird. They behave so awkward in doing skinships and they rarely interact in stage. Their moments became so subtle on stage but we'll always find them going out together, shopping and having lunch dates. They might have started as a staged couple, but I believed that somehow they found love in each others company.

O is a really straight guy and he loves Chanyeol more as a brother and so Chanyeol gave up I think and just settled for being a bromance hehe and he turned his affection to Baek. I’m not really into the kpop shipping culture but I do love Chanbaek. I never believed that any idols in a ship were actually gay for each other.
