I have two Gora swords. One with the straight hilt, the other with the tapered. Love them both. Both the long version. The only problem for me in Alberta, Canada is the cost of shipping and exchange for USD as I ordered mine out of California. But, both have been through a lot of abuse and should not need replacement during my lifetime. I have replaced the grip on both of course with various materials I have ordered off Amazon, including Lizard Skins grip. But truly a fine product in my un-professional opinion. At 70 yrs of age I do it as well as contact staff for exercise and fun, not for hire. I certainly respect your craft and abilities! Cheers from Edmonton!
Great vid, I am grateful for your content. I am a long time devil stick spinner and looking to get into contact sword. I have a few questions for you: 1, I use small paint cans to soak my wicks for Devil Stick, what kind of apparatus do you use to soak a wick of this length? 2, how long do you recommend cooling between burns as to not damage the swords? 3, I use white oil (Coleman camp fuel) is this the best for these swords? 4, do you ever use iron, titanium, or lycodium powder with these swords? Thank you again.
