We're continuing with topic 3, this time looking at the way the Nazis propaganda and censorship to control the thoughts and actions of the German people. We take a look at everything from sport to architecture and cover everything that might come up on your exam.
This covers the Edexcel GCSE History syllabus for paper 3. It will be useful no matter which exam board you are studying though.

thank you so so much for your help, I did my weimar and nazi Germany gsce this morning and im so so lucky and glad to have watched this video before hand as it asked to explain about methods of propaganda for our 12 marker, it gave us newspapers and rallies, then I wrote about the radios aswell!! I genuinely would have failed without you

Thank you so muchhhh I remember starting to watch your videos from April and this video has done wonders for me as not only was the 12 marker about propaganda but also the 16 marker too, life saver, got me and all my friends a good grade hopefully if all goes well in the next papers

'Sport was another opportunity for the Nazis to self-promote the idea of the Nazis.' 'The Nazis produced their own films and approx. 1300 Nazi films were released.' When you speak about the Nazis, do you have to use the word 'Nazis' in almost every sentence, and even twice in a sentence? Also, this statement: 'The Nazis won 33 medals at Berlin Olympics...' Did the Nazis win those medals - or German sportsmen?

You're being way too nit-picky about that honestly. It's not like it matters. But as for the sportsman thing I think they meant that, since the sportsman were from Germany during Hitler's regime, the Nazi state itself probably considered it their win as well. But I kinda get where you're coming from.
