I have been listening to this song for 20 years, always in my moments of stress; It is so beautiful; and it makes me remember my best moments of my life, the crest of the wave. It serves as therapy for me. I get nothing out of playing sad melancholic ballads

Turns out to be a classic, simply sublime (as well as the 'Jewel' mix) and Claudia Brücken's voice is stunning. Must be one the best 12" maxi ever. Propaganda's albums 'A secret wish', 'Wishful thinking' and the special editions are magical. My favourite band of the eighties.
I am 52 and this tune was lost to me for 20 + years. I found it again a year ago. As tunes go, for its time its acutely perfect and couldn't be improved. Video is amazing also. I know the words now as well which is a bonus 😃

I used to play the shit out of propaganda on a radio station in Easton pa in the 80s I was a dj at 90.5 fm wjrh that is now 104.9 fm Lafayette college radio love them 80s synth pop bands and I think I was the only radio dj playing this album on the east coast

Such a shame they kept the haunting guitar solo outro (6:52) as a background piece. It is an outstanding ending to a fantastic song ...never tire of listening to this track ....the melodies, synths, fantastic vocals and just the general vibe. I was based in Germany at the time and this song was coming out of every club and bar ....great memories

Well THANK YOU again for posting it...because I loved the 1980s and I loved the music of the 1980s and I didn't miss too many songs...I had a Paper Route back then...got to listen to the radio all the time and heard every song...but I missed this one completely...LOL Maybe cause it never was released here...I read that while reading about this group. I would have bought every 45 of it if I had known about the song....45s...funny!!!
