"I want that" too! Lol. Love your reviews, Ronnie! Was hoping you'd get to review Endeavor Pro specifically.. awesome, and thanks. I'm sold! Just a matter of time and funds now :) All the best! Stay safe!!
@@jeffreybenson8910 I’m in Tennessee. Ordered it July 29th 2021. I received the first week of October. I pre-ordered it and I believe it was either the 2 or 3rd batch that went out. May be faster now.
Alright, I'm about to possibly make you feel bad. I ordered my Endeavor Pro on March 8th, and it'll be here tomorrow! It shipped from one of their warehouses (Los Angeles). Four day shipping, not bad! However, the parts I ordered, which includes 7" street wheels parts and the light kit, are going to take a few weeks at the minimum.
Yea this board is awesome. My brother got the S version and I'm enjoying it until he pays me back, but too bad he didn't get the Pro, as it's very worth the extra range and slight speed boost, and better suspension, I would think. I ordered The Phantom, which will be way more maneuverable and portable, so I don't regret it, but: this board will likely be next for me, unless I decide to go with The Sex Panther, which you should also cover! Oh, and too bad this board doesn't have the fast swap battery feature like the X4S has, if they ever add that feature to this board, it'll be like a straight up car if you buy enough battery packs! 😛🎉
I'm currently trying to choose my first high-end board between $1000 and $2000 and was curious as to your opinion and what you would get if it were up to you. I really like the Propel Endeavor Pro and it seems like you get a lot for your money but I would like to ask someone that has ridden many of the boards I'm considering. I've narrowed it down to the Propel Endeavor Pro, Onsra Black Carve 2 (belt drive), and the Lycaon TRX 2.0. Which board would you pick if you were buying one as your main board. And no I don't have to carry my board much and am aware the Endeavor is a handful LOL. There are also a few other boards on my list like the Exway Atlas, B-One Hercules, Boundmotor Flash, and Eovan GTS carbon I just don't think any of them are as good as my top 3 picks but honestly, I haven't ridden any of them so I would love the feedback. Also if there are any other boards you think I should consider or that you would buy over the ones I've listed please let me know. Thank you and I hope to hear back from you soon cause I'm just waiting to hit that buy now button on one of these boards.
Which did you buy, and if you did, how you like? And if none yet, this is likely the best board to get right now in general, BUT: The Sex Panther (belt or DD) from Miles Board is definitely worth a look. Being able to use street wheels, cloud wheels, or AT wheels is an awesome feature, and it will feel like more of a skateboard, with more maneuverability, and it has the same top speed or so and likely a similar range. The Phantom is in a different category being a mid size board, but it's also worth a look considering it's higher portability. But yea, the Endeavor Pro is looking to be the best board in general right now I say.
Hey Ronnie I tried messaging you once already but I'm sure you get more then you can possibly respond to in a day so I'll give it one more shot and hope you have some time to get back to me. If your could have only one board between $1000 and $2000 for all of the different riding you do what would you choose? And I know everyone's opinion is different but I'm just asking your personal preference. Personally I'm trying to decide between the Propel Endeavor S, Propel Endeavor Pro, and the Lycaon TRX 2.0 but please be honest and give me your real opinion as to what board you would choose if you could have only one and maybe a short description as to why you chose that specific board? Thanks a bunch and keep up the reviews I watch them all the time. - Gary Z
The x4s is the "offroad" model by Propel, this is more the AT offering but its different because it actually lives up to the "all terrain" moniker and isnt just a street board with large tires
@@slicknslidin4124 vesc 6 is better than vesc 4, more efficient, which are both much better than the standard esc. The S comes with only the latter, while the Pro gives you the option on the 2 formers 👍
Awesome review. This is everything iv been wishing for in a esk8.The range, off road capability and top speed with being reasonably priced compared to its competitors. This is very likely going to be my next board
Ronnie - Would you recommend this over a traditional AT board (Wowgo, Onsra, Evolve GTR, etc) for mostly street riding? Thoughts on the S vs pro? Worth the $800 for a casual cruising rider?
So in other words yes. This definitely over those other boards. Their "at" wheels and double kingpin trucks only do so much. This suspension will beat anything in comparison
You may say well I dont rife that hard. And id argue true. However you could spend 1k on those other boards and have less options. With this you COULD decide to go harder if you so pleased.
For mostly street riding I don't know if you'd really need the suspension unless your roads aren't paved, I'd look into the ownbord Zeus for an AT board meant for street riding
@@Sean1647 have you ever ridden a board with suspension and a wheel base this large? Cuz I own an endeavor S and it’s the fact it can eat up just about everything that’s crazy. It handles off-road like a beast and streets are even smoother
This board looks sick and really performs. I just got a halo beast board…but I’m looking for a truly all terrain … I think this is it … the price is right and the features are of off the chart …please make more reviews, about range and how to mount accessories, like shred lights and others… 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Wow, this raises the bar for manufactured completes. It's actually innovative, and affordable. Can't wait to see people abusing them, because that's what you do to an electric mountainboard.
Since it’s VESC-based it’s closer in some ways to car brakes in that you as the user controls the total brake curve. If you move the throttle slowly down it will apply more gradually. If you slam it back hard it’s like slamming your foot down on the brake pedal of car.
Damn I want a dedicated offroad board to ride on rocky/gravel/dirt/rooty trails (like trails for firefighting trucks in natural parks) and I was really interested by the X4S but I was afraid it would be too bulky and heavy and that it wouldn't feel like skateboarding at all. I also tried a classic mountain board but was dissatisfied with the lack of "skateboarding feel" as well. This Endeavour might be exactly what I'm looking for ! Smaller, more nimble and for skate like while still being great off road. I'd love to hear more about it especially compared to other dedicated off road models !
Hey man was just thinking about how fast time has been flying I remember starting out watching your channel when I was soooo young , and you toooo , you were in high school I suppose And how much things have changed hahahaha Literally gone from being kids too being adults now , and lol going from thinking all day about how to lane that first kick flip , to now adult stuff hahahaha Just coming back and watching your videos gets me so nostalgic man , puts me back to them old vibes Keep staying amazing brother !
Nice seeing another great video Ronnie! I think this will be the game changer for ESK8. Torque alone seems crazy good as well as braking…insane! Independent suspension working like a champ. Longevity will of course play a major role but, that didn’t stop me from purchasing one!🥴😄🤣🤣😀 Last but not least…PRICE! WOW!!!
Yes I did the homework on the batteries,,, the bamboo is a 12s3p while the carbon is a 12s5p which for the price, is still better value than the evolve Hadean that is only a 12s4p and hasn't got suspension! Definitely one of the best total all around preformance and value for money boards I can air freight to Australia! Loved watching you ride!
Any opinions for a new rider that wants to do street and off road rides? Have a lot of experience on a normal skateboard, and am considering considering Endeavor S (lower end version of this one) and the Onewheel Pint. I would typically lean towards the Endeavor, since it's more skateboard-like, but after watching Ronnie's video on the trail ride with the Onewheel XR, EUC, and the Propel X4S, it looked like the Onewheel had a much easier time off road. Thanks!
I ride with mostly one wheelers. Lots of beach, dune trails, stuff like that. To be honest, they all have 4wd envy all night, lol. I can do more, go more places, get there WAY faster, etc The Propel X4s loves the beach And I faceplant a lot less,lmao....we drink a bit when we are riding on the sand, lol
Hey Ronnie, how does the agility of the Endeavor compare to a dual king pin trick like what's found on many of the other mid market boards? For reference I am coming from an Exway Flex and have experience riding a friends Ownboard Bamboo.
Hey man not sure if your still interested in knowing this but the carving ability is good for an all terrain board but there is a limit and it won't be able to carve like something with duel king pin trucks that's just not what this board is made for
Only slightly slower, but roughly the same torque I reckon, it blasts. Enjoy! I'm really loving using my brother's Endeavor S until he pays me back, lol 😛🎉👍
Awesome skateboard the only problem is they never have any in stock. They haven't restock their shelves in awhile. At least evolve has their shelves stocked. Which worries me because it propelled can't keep this in stock to actually sell the people and they probably don't have the parts to sell when this thing breaks down
This is basicaly the best board on the market rite now and it's half the price of the one other board that compeates with it. freaking amazing, gonna start saving my money now XD
This is exactly the board I've been looking for for the last 3 years. Been through three evolve boards, and love them all, but I have a feeling this is going to be only beast. Thank you for your review! Just purchased one! Booyah
great review ronnie but i wish you had showed more offroad roads instead of pavement, nothing too crazy but some gravel roads or hard packed dirt roads where offroard boards tend to be used :)
So amped for this board. Do you think it’s worth paying for the pro instead of the s? I only typically go for rides less than 15 miles weigh 240lbs and live in a hilly area. Thanks for the review!!
Excellent review ronnie! but just one question, please, the carve looks good, but is the high speed stability above 40KPH good?. I have double kingpin and above 40KPH it's dangerous, unstable, can you give me your opinion ... thank you
Where is this company located? Any USA based customer support for warranty claims and repairs? That's why my first board was a Miles Phantom. Based in san Diego and I was easily able to communicate with and get warrant work from them. Just mailed the board to San Diego and it was back to me within a week. And communication was good. My next board is Kaly.nyc. based in New yourk and Ernesto is very responsive to customer needs. Anything overseas is a no go for me. A total deal breaker.
This is really really good looking board. Looking for second board and its between this and Flux AT2. Flux is nicer and has monster battery but 900 euros more. TOUGH DECISION :D
I am not sure but it looks like the flux at 2 has a rigid truck, so no independend wheel suspension. In that case , riding offroad would be far better with the propel suspension.
@@majorpuffen7444 sure enough, but rigid trucks tend to influence your balance a lot more on uneven terrain then individual wheel suspension I guess, was about to order a Hadean and then this Endeavor hits the market. More bulky board but the specs and price are so good...
@@ElGuapoDeSantoPoco you’re some what correct, the way these trucks are set up, with barrel bushings, it acts as a suspension system providing a much smoother ride over rough terrain compared to a normal truck set up
@@majorpuffen7444 I just realize it's a Belgium based company, and I am Belgian😁. I will check them out. Outgrown my Bamboo GTR, so I am looking at the Flux AT, the Hadean and the Propel Endeavor Pro.... Too much choice.
This board has more than double the battery capacity of the Atlas, but you can't mount street wheels on the Propel.... so I think for everyone who only want to ride pneumatics, the probel has by far the biggest battery capacity of all boards below 2000 dollar as far as I know.
I would think very, very different, in the way of much much better. I have only ridden the Endeavor S as far as AT boards go, but yea, if it only has big meaty wheels and no suspension, it shouldn't even be called an AT board, just a esk8 with AT wheels.
Oh, this looks great. I should buy this except of ecomobl, it came with a broken motor from a factory and requires a lot of maintanace, still have some issues with it.. It kinda drifts one wheel sometimes and it's scary.
Just a matter of budget and prioritization. Both feature the same Propel suspension but the S is a maple deck with less range and less power than the Pro. Having said that, a 666wh battery from the S is still larger capacity than most boards in the $999-$1399 price tier anyway.
I'm wondering the same thing. I don't know if I care about the differences. I don't need the extra range. Usually prefer maple decks. And I don't care about the VESC based ESC versus the LingYi
The combination of the pandemic backlog and the typhoon backlog have allowed all of the big freight companies to basically raise their costs to new highs on the way out of China. If your stock was in the US before all this you’re good. If you’re in a presale that’s not possible. Some of the other esk8 companies have taken to shrinking batteries down to try snd offset for stuff like this without even telling people. It’s crazy.
i want to get a camera, but idk if i should get the insta 360 go 2 or the one x2, i wanna make skate videos like yours with the low close to the board angles, unboxings maybe some reviews as well as just vlog style documenting fun memories. what would you reccomend out of the 2
Board looks amazing but no chance you're getting 44 miles. I got the same capacity on my DIY with Urathane wheels and gear drives which are more efficient. Average 30-35miles
One of our goals at Propel is to put integrity back into the specs. Our boards are tested by 2 different size riders averaging multiple rides multiple types of terrain. Then we list the results for each weight rider so the consumer can have a much more realistic scope of where they will fall in that range. No more big number BS, we are riders building for riders. his is how we list our range. Rider A 75kg- 71km Rider B 100kg- 50km
@Ronnie I am your subscriber for quite some time. Thank You for all the reviews! Will You have the opportunity to test Endeavor S as well? What are your predictions for the Endeavor S vs Pro power - how much less power does the S model have compared to the Pro? And how about the smoothness of acceleration with VESC? Is it really much much better than ESC? Greetings from Poland :)
Bro I love watching you I think you're amazing going into all the details of a electric board you're pretty much what inspired me to start electric longboarding 😁
Right behind you, Ronnie! Got the wowgo at2 and when I saw the price on this, now I'm upset. Ability surpassed the board pretty quickly unfortunately. Need more power for offroad!
@@WatchDoggyDog It's on it's way, should be here before the end of the month. There was a delay because they ran out of Vesc 4.2's and they all now come with the Vesc 6.0.
Hey brother been a while, had my cx4 since march and luv it for off road but all that suspension is a bit much to keep up with for cruising so am thinking this might be a better option. Your thoughts? BTW is that a vx2 remote? Had to laugh at your range comments. ridden over 100 miles in a weekend so...yeah would be sweet not to have to swap and carry extra batteries.
