Thanks bro, just the words I needed to hear 🎉 getting my pivot s next week seems like pretty much the same board except for different motors and battery.
@@CitySurfathank you for the advice, I’ve been leaning towards the explorer since it has a waterproof rating, radiator and 10A higher output ESC are there any specific reasons you think it’s better than the explorer?
@@khalinscheiber7720 I got the tynee Explorer and I absolutely love everything about it including the amazing customer service, I have some had roads around me with goat heads and glass so I get a lot of flats but my coudwheels are arriving today message back if you want another update but tynee has amazing customer service and I’ve put in 650+ miles on my board on a month and I’ve loved every second of it
@@khalinscheiber7720 only issue I’ve had is whenever the battery is fully charged the ESC can be a little bit jumpy when you’re cruising at moderate to slower speeds but obviously you should always be ready for jolts jumps and stops so it’s not really an issue just something to be aware of and honestly the only issue I’ve noticed in my board, and the tubes aren’t my favorite but that’s most likely due to the roads around me
Just ordered the Meepo Voyager, have it friday, already lookin at this after lookin at countless vids & specs, this checks all the box's for me,hopefully they have a sale $1300 for the 2 in 1 is a lil pricey
Voyager is a good board but doesn’t come close to the Pivot GT. It’s not $1300 cause its a 2in1 you have to look at the specs closely. It’s to low of a price in my opinion especially when most the boards in this class are $300-$500 more. This board is low priced. 🤙🏻
@@joehiatt1992 haaha I totally agree. Acdeck is a good company but Propel did something special here with the GT. In my opinion it takes the cake compared to any Acedeck in it’s class. I also raced the $3000 Hoyt Tabor and beat it with the GT🤙🏻
I received my Pivot S a few days ago and I've put about 100km on it. I have to disagree with the stability of the board. Despite the incredibly hard bushings, it still will jolt into speed wobbles at high speeds. But overall, its a beautiful board and the power is insane 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Hey everyone, RUss here from Propel. Zach, next time youre riding, try this. Get up to speed where you are nearing wobble level and then slowly shift your weight to your front foot and give it some more throttle. Downforce on the front truck is the fix provided youve already tuned the truck for your ride style. I like to start with it super tight and then start loosening. I aim to have it as loose as possible with wobble even being a thought. Everyone is different though. Now, when you practice moving the weight primarily to the front foot, be prepared, its weird at first, its the last thing your body wants to do naturally but.....mind over matter. This is a tool/method ALL riders should learn and practice. Mastering this also provides a huge boost in confidence. If you still find wobble to be an issue you can aslo look into some stiffer after market bushings. Hope this helps Ride hard, Ride safe, RIDE PROPEL!!
@@propelvirtualgarage963cool that you responded to him. I am a snowboarder/longboarder looking to get a board. After scouring everything on the saturated esk8 market I keep coming back to propel. I'm torn between the endeavor and pivot - but for the value, this looks like it might be the best board òn the market. I might have to get it.
Recommend playing around with bushing hardness, types and arrangements, also look up a chart to see the ranges for your weight also factor in your boards weight and then decide on what hardness you like (trial and error) and always tighten your truck just a bit more than you think you should, run it too loose and you’ll get speed wobbles/you’ll drift corners, run it too tight and you won’t be able to turn/you’ll be drifting again It’s fun to drift but you wanna be in control.
hey bro, local fall river rat 😆 love the Vids looking to get into esk8 and trying to learn and find a good board to start with I know there's many options out there but I'm the type of person that likes to go for the best of a product instead of wasting money on something cheaper just to not be satisfied when I get better and the thing ain't enough anymore and have to upgrade to something bigger/better so I rather go straight the the top how do you think this board would be for a man like me 6'3 ft. and about 260-270 lbs. I know I'm a big guy 😆
What’s up Local 😁🤙🏻 So the Pivot GT is a beast and can definitely handle you. It has a max load of 330lbs So you’re alset there. Definitely go for it you’ll love it.
It’s a total different board & price range lol It’s an AT board plus gear drive and to even consider Thanes you need to spend an extra $300 🤢 so for $1700 + it better be good 😂 trust me the Pivot GT smokes and honestly most people shouldn’t even be riding that fast cuz they have no skill to do so. Remember if the board goes that fast it doesn’t mean you should. Practice practice 🫡 My GT smoked the Tabor
