When I was a child I made air tents with a box fan and a bed sheet. I would lay in the tent and imagine I was in an airplane, like the scene from Temple of Doom when everyone is asleep on the plane before jumping out in the river raft. I would sleep soo soundly, and have always wished I could find that sweet spot of sleep as an adult. Well thanks to this I have, several sleep sound videos have helped but this one is the one I have been looking for. If I could do one thing to it I would remove 80% of the storm, and allow the flow of the props to be dominate. Either way I must give you credit my friend for bringing that sweet experience back. God bless.
I have a box fan blowing on me right now and ya know what? Ithink Im going to sleep like that tonight lol 42 years old be dammed, I can't remember sleeping more sound or content! Thanks for jarring that memory!!!🤣😂
I have over 2000 hours in C-130s with 8000 total military and airline time. I can tell you from experience that you don't hear the thunder unless the lightning actually hits the aircraft. Besides, it is the blinding light that distracts you more than the the thunder (especially when the strike hits the nose). Nor is there any "pitter patter" of rain drops hitting the fuselage. If there is any sound at all, it is a constant roar. Also, the noise and vibration of unsynchronised propellers in a multiengine airplane will contribute to fatigue on a long flights. Thankfully, the C-130 had an electronic synchronizer so you didn't hear or feel the modulations of four propellers turning at slightly different RPMs. I hope this didn't spoil anyone's sleep.
I’ve been really struggling a lot lately. With my mental health, academics, taking care of myself. Nobody knows what’s going on and I haven’t really told anybody. These waves are really nice and These comments have been amazing. I don’t see positivity like this often even if it’s not directed at me... Goodnight everyone, I hope you sleep well.
After 46 years of working in aviation, my daughter is amazed that I can tell several types of airplanes, just hearing to them. She was most amazed when she knew that I use aircraft engines sound to fall asleep. :D
@@erhanercan7466 He didn't say she LIKE it. He said that she was amazed... But these are different things... you are just another ordinary stupid layman - you hear only what you want, but not the truth. You probably believe the news... LOL
There’s just something about the gentle hum of several thousand explosions per sec and a blade spinning mind blowingly fast that really puts me to sleep especially with thunder and rain
this is very different, its deep, its spritual and when i look at the screen i see a ghost plane , carrying the ww2 pilots that didnt make it. Its very moving, i can almost feel as though i am with them , in a peaceful serenity
Yes, it would be more soothing and sleep inducing with the addition of the seat occupants to add some slight squeaking spring and rubbing of leather noise, so please call the crew back from the officers canteen - thanks!
To everyone reading this, I pray that whatever is causing you pain or stressing out over you will get better. Let excessive thoughts and doubts leave your mind. May peace and tranquility fill your life.
To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. 🙏
This is beautiful. I travelled on a lot of commercial aircraft as a child in the late 60's and throughout the 70's, when air travel was really a treat, and these sounds make me so happy. Thank you.
I love this sound taking me to sleep. It takes me home. It's more in keeping with what I remember, virtually growing up from a baby on a Pan American Airways Stratocruiser, before the Boeing jets took over. My dad was as exec with PAA in the Golden Age of Flying and always First Class in the '50's, 60's. Food was beyond compare. Chateaubriand. The most divine, juicy, chicken breast with attached wingette. Food Wishes, Chef John on YT shows how to make it, "Airline Chicken Breast (Enhanced). So elegant. It was a privilege to see that world. I miss it more than words can say.
this makes me think of all the B-29 ferry flights across the Pacific to distant airbases in ww2, huge runs of thousands of miles between Hawaii and Guam or Australia, imagine the eeriness being onboard hearing this sound in the middle of the night high over that pitch black ocean in the middle of wartime.
The raindrop sounds gives the impression of being on the apron with the engines running instead of actually flying, because it sounds like gentle downpour on the ground instead of against the plane itself
Yea, you aint gonna get any sleep when prop ice is slapping the side of the a/c... Checking the wings for ice build up with a fucking flashlite; falls between the seat...
This is the savior of my sleep and relaxation, so I’m forever grateful. The mix of rain and thunder is just enough and fits very well. Thank you so much for uploading such a wonderful video
I am digging the engine noise, and the rumble of thunder. But I gotta be honest, the water sound makes me think the pilot and copilot are out of there seats and pissing on the floor near where I would be tring to sleep! 🤣😂🤣 But I love these videos. They are very relaxing.
Imagine if you will an Army Air Force B-29 bomber. Lost in a typhoon sometime in 1945, somewhere over the Pacific. By some unknown twist of nature she has travelled in time to the 21st century. No apparent crew, not even a skeleton crew, and loaded with the third atomic bomb. Her heading: north, south, east or west. The ship's name: The Twilight Zone.
Look for the directional gyro (top furthest right on the Pilot's seat) Set your course to between 270 and 310. Follow the bearing exactly, and maintain altitude. If the B-29 is from WW2 in the Pacific, it's flying out from Guam. If your lucky, the plane's direction is toward Japan, meaning that it has enough fuel for a return trip. Following that course will eventually lead you over the Philippines, Taiwan, or China. Any of those locations is better than bailing out over the Pacific.
You actually had fools get into a cockpit like this and never wonder, "Gee, why all this glass? Aren't we flying ducks? Oh well, let's all die for liberty, liberty, liberty. Liberty." LMAO! Thank GOD for all the smarter, more courageous CO's who survived.
Don't know why but this channels prop, lighting and rain sometimes gives me chills.. Can't sleep with out it..wish it was at least 6 hours long..love it addictd.
This came on in the middle of the night while I was listening to ambient plane sounds and my dumbass thought it was millennium falcon ambience at first
White noise and sound of thunder, lightening and rain combined with great B29 bomber's engine and propellers blades's white noise is spiritual experience and literally sound like ॐ om. This is meditation and spirituality. And perfect for relaxing, calming and put you in deep and quality sleep. And there are no pilots in the plane? It's like in WW2 this plane's pilots are dead and fallen heroes. But plane is on autopilot mode and pilots Ghosts have possessed the plane and they are controlling it the plane is alive like ghost ship. One can make a whole movie out of this ghost plane theme.
This reminds me of the opening credits of the movie Back from Eternity made by RKO Radio Pictures in 1956 that I first saw in TV in the 1960s when I was a boy watching The Late Show on WCBS ch.2 New York that featured dramatic and comedy movies after the 11.30 PM news ended at midnight! The blond haired girl at the airport nesr the beginning as a camera girl from college with her girl reporter was Barbara Eden in her movie debut. 😊
This is a miraculous combination of sounds, a B-29 (Bless every person that flew one during the war, you will always persevere) mixed with rain & awesome rolling thunder claps. I’m being flown to an undisclosed location for an experimental pain trial for my damaged spine and discs. I keep thinking about all the people in the homes that I’m flying over and some of the scenarios that are happening in their lives. Looking out it looks like we’re flying over a patchwork quilt and I’m looking down wondering what they’re doing tonight. More later…
I wish you good luck sir, I know living in pain isn't easy. It eats away at your energy reserves like little else. I hope it all worked out! And even better, that it helped somewhat. Regards, Thomas
It was better without the rain and thunder. The hum of the plane is relaxing while the rain and thunder interrupts the peace. The first video like this one was the better one and it was very relaxing to the point that one could fall asleep and have very vivid dreams. Then one day the creator took the good video, added rain and thunder and that was the end of the good one. I wonder why they got rid of it? 🤔
This looks like the Flying Dutchman of B-29s. Like it's a ghost plane with all the widows blown out, dripping with ice, cursed to fly forever through the endless cold clouds above a silent, endless sea.
If someone has it, please upload the Delta Waves Night Flight that is 10 hours long with out the thunder & lightning . Can't find it anywhere. That was the best. It's just like this one minus the thunder and lightning.
