In my opinion practical learning house is at the number one on the list of tax experts in Pakistan on RU-vid. Other channels are not describing as per Pakistani law,only that things are being discussed that are just for formalities. Pros and cons no matter. As an overseas I have visit and stayed multiple countries but I never see this type of department to create problems to citizens.i came to Pakistan 1st quarter of 2024 .As active filer I withdrew around 1.5 million and bank took 0.6 % on the amount, I talked to branch branch manager I’m file he said their same problem in FBR system so we don’t do anything so I asked him how to claim as returns he said I have no idea. They are deducting tax in everything but as citizen what they are giving us ……..?????.They are serving at scale 17,18,19 …. Hand to mouth salary but they make big properties abroad how ?

Sir, previously inherited property was declared zero and gain tax was not applied to it. Now 15% gain tax straight forward has been put on it. As this law has been implemented recently then how can we change that previous value to that specific inheritance year fair price. There must be some way to it. Also please let know if the laws pertaining to religious aspects can be changed in this manner by FBR or any other body?? Will that not simply be against "Mohammadan Law (Shariat)"? If law allows inheritance to be distributed by following the "Shariat Law" then how can they implement "Non-shariat" law when it comes to taxation??

In Pakistani constitution anything that is against the Law of Allah, stands null and void. In Inheritance deed or Gift Deed etc, there is no Monetary exchange, even then you have to pay certain stamp duty to the provincial government, I do not know if FBR too want to have their share in Tax, if so then you can challenge them in the Court. Let me remind you that there is a lot of corruption in both Federal and Provincial government but that corruption needs to be stopped, if we challenge them in the Courts, it can be stopped, may Allah make things easy for all of us, Aameen.

@syedalikhurram8347 there is a difference between buying and inheritance transfer. By law legal heirs become the owner of property the moment a person passes away. Documentation in terms of Allotment/Transfer/Mutation etc is to update the record. That would mean anyone who passed away before 1st July 2024, his/her legal heirs should not have to pay this gain. It shouldn't matter when documentation is updated. Like I said, ambiguity definitely exists in terms of inheritance.

Report the same in capital asset form, but in wealth we will not change the value, once reported.

My brother the question is that why people are using cash their is no. Proof of income why through banking channels using bank draft checks payorders are docomentry proof while cash payment is the agreement between the two parties and no. Proof of money trail

میرا تمام لوگوں کو مشورہ ہے کہ فائلر نہ بنے۔ کل کو جرمانے نوٹس اور سم بلاک، بینک اکاونٹ بلاک ہونگے۔ جبکہ نان فائلر کے ساتھ کچھ نہیں ہوتا۔ FBR میں ایک بار آپکا اکاؤنٹ بن گیا پھر وہ اکاؤنٹ ختم نہیں ہوسکتا۔ میں تو کہتا ہوں 302 کر لے لیکن FBR سے بچیں۔

If a property purchased in 2010 the cost is less than million. Now, the market value of property is more than 1.5m in 2024. Father is not registered in FBR, now he wants to register in FBR 2024. He is retired and get pension only. Please advise regarding property as in 2010 purchased in cash.

میرا ایک سوال ہے ۔۔۔۔ میں نے فلیٹ 60 لاکھ میں خریدا لیکن میں نے اسے ریٹرن میں 36 لاکھ کا شو کیا کیونکہ میں نے رجسٹری 36 لاکھ DC ریٹ پر کروائی تھی ۔۔۔ اب میں اگر اس کو ایک سال بعد بیچوں گا تو اس کا گین ٹیکس کیا ہو گا؟ ۔۔۔۔ کیا FBR اس گین ٹیکس کو DC ریٹ سے ہی منسلک کرے گی یا اس کی fair market value کے حساب سے گین ٹیکس چارج کرے گی؟ ۔۔۔ میں نے یہ فلیٹ 10 ماہ پہلے خریدا تھا ۔۔۔ پلیز جواب ضرور دیجیئے گا
