It's always interesting! It is a lot of hard work, isn't it, quite a work out! I guess there is no time for you to take a break. When you are all done, you will have a fantastic vacation home! The concrete, stamped and with the sealer looks like leather.

Dave I really like the full width steps. I was thinking how nice a brown river rock face would look on the small block wall at the end. Lights are a nice touch too. Beautiful work!

I had those solar lights for my driveway. The lenses for the solar panel and lights would yellow after about 8 months and the seal for the solar panel would deteriorate. They had a about a one year life before the solar panel and batteries failed. I imagine the Arizona heat will be much harsher than the weather in Kansas. The stamped look looks real nice. I like it better than the driveway with the stamped pave stone look.

My brothers made their concrete career and general contracting business in NorCal. They emphasized wire and rebar reinforcement. When they poured my 20 yard concrete drive, they did the same and local AZ contractors stopped and commented on the overbuilt driveway....😁 that drive way after many may years is very stout. They continue to have their employees doing the same after these many years. Keep up the great work Odell....just don't bring the crazy politics from CA....🤣

That looks fantastic, nice work! Just a heads up for the future. That skirting works well and looks nice but can also become a water trap behind the piece screwed to siding. No bid deal and hopefully almost no issues for you in dryer climate and on sunny sides in hot temps but in a year or two take some skirting off and just check out bottom of siding for any swelling or bubbling in paint and so on. Just something to be aware of because it can get into your rim board at siding seams if there is a problem. Dust and debris gets in there and can act like a sponge and stops drainage during rains. Just a heads up for you long term. When I put any on I put an extra coating of paint or stain on just behind that piece and on bottom lip and silicone behind every screw I put in. Just take a look and you will understand if you aren't aware. That upper, outer trim piece will pop off, all you have to do is slightly pull it out and down starting at seam. Than you will see everything is held on by basically exposed fasteners from wall water shed that are hidden from sight. Invent a better skirting design and cash in.

And been watching your videos for probably a year now, I've seen you do some "diy" cement jobs where you would help some people when it comes to the pour day but can you make a video more of a how too float and when to float and the steps of it. Simular to 5:40-6:05 in the video. I've tried some of my own slabs for 2 sheds and a little walk way but I need help in this area and love your work!

4:47 - Dude - this is concrete work - NO CRACKS needed - that is why they put in crack lines - you can keep your crack covered with an underwear.

What kind of lights are those pretty nice

Wind cautions about the patio. It's gonna want to fly away in 65 MPH gusts that thunderstorms can make in that area. Wide open with no trees to slow it down and extremes in temperatures make the wind very chaotic and violent. Give it some real substance or it will leave. Ask the locals for some horror stories about the winds they've had over the years.
