you could also include the narration in which the prophet muhammad peace be upon him describes his face to be prettier than the moon. i dont recall the exact words he used but i do know that he saw him in his acsencion to the heaven (miraj)
In Surah Taha 20:70 "We have (now) believed in the Lord of Harun and Musa." In Surah Al-A'raf 7:122: "We believe in the Lord of the worlds, the Lord of Musa and Harun." Both ayahs refer to the same event. Is there a reason why one ayah refers to Harun first and another to Musa first?
-brother of musa. musa told god to make harun his partner of this mission and appoint him as prophet -why harun? bcs he is better at speaking and clearing things -try to manage ppl of banu israel in the absence of musa without creating a civil war
What does he mean when he says musa allay wa Salam asks for a trustworthy person to help him but and then he says haroon. But does Allah suphanawata'ala say is or does Musa say it when he sees Haroon alayhywasalam.
+Yusif Karim Prophet Musa asked Allah SWT if his brother Haroon coul accompany him in mission to warin firooon and his people.Because Musa knew the task would be difficult and he asked Allah swt permission for assistance.

im confused about something...during prophet musas time was not the pharoh killing off all the male children that were born during the time and leaving the girls? and that was why musas mother put him in the basket in the river which would ultimately be picked up by pharohs wife. so my question is if haroon is older than musa then how did he survive the slaughter of baby boys that was taking place at that time? if someone can clear this up id appreciate it. thanks!
The killing of the children of Israel was carried out until the experts of economics said to Pharaoh: "The aged of the children of Israel die and the young are slaughtered. This will lead to their annihilation. As a result, Pharaoh will lose the manpower of those who work for him, those whom he enslaves, and their women whom he exploits. It is better to regulate this procedure by initiating the following policy: males should be slaughtered in one year but spared to live the next year." Pharaoh found that solution to be safer economically. Moses's mother was pregnant with Aaron (pbuh) in a year that boys were spared; thus she gave birth to the child publicly and safely. During a year in which boys were to be slain, she gave birth to Moses (pbuh); thus his birth caused her much terror.
+Draconian Well brother my opinion is that it is and isn't if you are going to call your son and want a muslim name take Harun this is only an example Aaron is the bible name for Harun.Thank you for reading.
Aaron is the Anglican version of the Hebrew name yes. My name is spelled with one a, but it doesn't matter if you're Muslim you are Muslim ☺ and if you want to know the Islamic version and true version of that prophetic name in shaa Allah it is Haroon. After the Prophet a.s. ☺ in shaa Allah that helps you

When Prophet Haroon (AS) was alive, he was the deputy of Prophet Musa (AS), and was the partner of Musa in his responsibility and real helper and supporter of Musa, but he passed away during the life of Musa (AS). Had he lived after the passing away of Musa, no one was entitled to succeed Musa but Haroon. The status of Haroon from Musa is similar to the status of Ali (AS) from Muhammad (SAWA). (Saheeh al-Bukhari; Hadeeth numbers 3430 and 4064.) and Saheeh Muslim; Hadeeth numbers 4416, and 4419 and 4420 and 4421. Thise understand Quran can obviously see the status Ali (AS) from the Prophet (SAWA) which is superior to all Muslim Ummah
Haroon عليه سلام is a prophet, while Ali رضي الله عنهو is not. Ali is very beloved to prophet Muhamed, but he’s not a prophet. This is a very wrong statement, as it is implying that prophet Muhammad is not the last messenger.
