So why would allah make it look like Jesus Christ On the cross but apparently the quran claims it wasn't him? Why was Jesus mother not able to recognise Jesus her own son being crucified? there are many more powerful signs regarding the big bang etc uploaded by a user with the name helasmoh i'd check him out i was amazed by some of his video's regarding many modern day discoveries that were mentioned in the Quran

the big bang itsself is spoken about in sufficient detail in another part of the quran. But If you watched cosmos, or follow astronomy, you'd know that the universe itsself is expanding out there in space, I think it is more that that is being referred to here.
