Song of Solomon is not a prophetic book. The whole book of song of Solomon is about love between Solomon and his wife . It doesn't make sense for Muhammad to be mentioned in a love poem. Read the chapter 5 for yourselves .
In Song of Solomon, the maiden says of her lover, "His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether LOVELY (maḥamadim). This is my beloved, this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem." The word translated as "lovely" is the Hebrew word ‘maḥamadim’. It is the plural of ‘maḥamad’, which means “lovely, cute, or desirable.” Hebrew, Aramaic, Amharic (Ethiopian), Arabic etc are all Semitic languages and although they share the same language structure of forming words from consonant roots that all Semitic languages share a large percentage of roots, they are different languages with different words. Words that sound alike in different Semitic languages, even if spelled exactly the same with corresponding letters in their own alphabets, almost never are the same word in both languages, though they can sometimes carry related meanings. Although the root of maḥamadim in Hebrew (from the root of lovely, cute, desirable) and Muhammad in Arabic (from the root to praise) is both ḥ-m-d, both words mean different things in their respective languages, and the meaning of the root in each language is slightly different because of semantic shift from the common ancestor language of Proto-Semitic. In summary: do maḥamadim and Muhammad share the same Semitic tri consonantal root? Yes, because they’re related Semitic languages. But, are they the same word? No! It does not follow that the verse refers to Muhammad, especially since the word used is a plural adjective, not a proper noun in the form of the name of a person, and the context of the sentence is of a lover’s characteristics being described. Finally, the suggestion that maḥamadim translates as “maḥamad i’m” (I am Muhammad) is ludicrous, because on top of the bad Hebrew knowledge, he’s inserting English too! 🤦♂️ 😂
@@oracletate01 fell of my chair from laughter after watching it all. It was ridiculous. Do you know what Songs of Solomon is about in the first place? Solomon wrote songs (poems) to express the beauty of his wives and his emotions toward them. And obviously the wives were all women. I don’t know what muslins want to disguise but that word has nothing to do with Muhammad in Islam.
My suspicion was confirmed when I went through the Sira Literature. Although written much later than the Qur'an, Sira Literature contains most valuable information about the cultural backdrop into which Islam has been born. One such gem is to be found in Al-Tabari Volume 6, Page 70. In which the author explains the real reason Muhammad sought out that tiny cave: The Messenger of God used to spend one month in every year in religious retreat on Hira. This was part of the practice of tahannuth in which people from the tribe of Quraysh [Muhammad's own tribe] used to engage during the Jahiliyyah (the pagan era before Islam). Tahannuth means self-justification. Mentioning this practice, Abu Talib said, "By those ascending Hira' and those descending." The Messenger of God used to spend this month in every year in religious retreat, feeding the poor who came to him. When he had completed his month of retreat the first thing which he would do on leaving, even before going home, was to circumambulate the Ka'bah seven times, or however many times God willed; then he would go home. So, sitting in a cave that faced the Kaaba for a month was part of the whole Kaaba pagan-worship package! Mind you, that up until Muhammad's conquest of the city in in A.D. 629, the Kaaba housed 365 pagan deities, presided over by the Moon God Hubal (an Arabic form of the Canaanite God Baal, or ha-Baal, imported to Mecca a couple of generations prior to Muhammad’s birth), and also by the triple Goddesses Al-Lat, Manat, and Al-Uzza. Even after Mecca’s conquest, and the destruction of the idols, Muhammad was loth to abolish the pagan rites that surrounded the Kaaba. In fact, most rituals Muslims do on their Hajj today, have their origins from rites practiced by the Pagan Arabs. But that is a whole different topic. For now, it is clear that Muhammad was carrying out the religious rites of his tribe, the Quraysh. The Quraysh, as the most prominent tribe in Mecca, were the caretakers of the Kaaba. They were all ardent polytheists. At one time, Muhammad’s patron and grandfather, Abd al-Muttalib, had even vowed to slaughter one of his ten sons to the God in the Kaaba-Hubal- if he would succeed in digging the well of Zamzam (Al-Kalbi and al-Tabari (1:157)). We can safely assume that Muhammad was a pagan-worshipper before the foundation of Islam. Any other claim is a whitewash of the historical Muhammad, or, at best, an attempt to reconcile the pagan roots of Islam with the Abrahamic legacy of the Judeo-Christian heritage.
Granting for what? For spreading lies? Deedat had no education in classic Hebrew. Moreover, Deedat was not even officially educated at all. And never did Deedat refer to a Hebrew dictionary or scholar to prove his point. The first mistake by Deedat is that he pronounced מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים as ‘muhamaddim’. But he is wrong, it is ‘ma-kha-madim’. So there is no pronunciation of Muhammad. Just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon. The other mistake made by Deedat is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' is a name. Again he is very wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name. Again, just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon. And because it is not a name it is impossible that it refers to the name of ‘Muhammad’. Also the claim that the plural 'im' (or 'eem') in ma-kha-madim in the Hebrew language was ‘added for respect’ is in this case false. First of all, nowhere in Songs of Solomon 5 it speaks about אֱלהִים, elohim, the masculine noun for a godhead. But Song of Solomon 5 speaks about ממתקים, mamtaqim and מחמדים, ma-kha-madim. So you can't compare apples with oranges. Biblical poetry is typically built on pairs of metaphors, for example "they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions". In Song of Songs 5:16 it's "His mouth is most sweet, ממתקים, he is altogether lovely, מחמדים. So מחמדים, ma-kha-madim is equivalent to ממתקים, mamtaqim. So the addition ‘-im’ is just a superlative of ‘desire', so it means 'most desire'. Exactly in line with the other words in vers 16: ‘mamtaqim’ = most sweet and other places ‘partamim' = most noble. So in Songs of Solomon there is no 'muhammad'. Deedat just fooled you guys.

One way to safeguard the texts from corruption, is if God encrypted the verses with hidden codes to preserve Muhammad’s name so that nobody can tamper with or conceal it. I found two examples in the Bible, maybe there’s more. The first prophecy is in book of Haggai 2:7 it reads “And I will shake all nations, and the *desire* of all nations shall come: And I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.” The word that translated to “desire” חֶמְדַּ֣ת “hem-dat” has the same roots as the name Muhammad. Now, whatever way they interpret the verse, it doesn’t change the fact that Muhammad has already came and defeated the idolatrous nations and spreaded the true knowledge about the oneness of the Creator and confirmed the prophets. Nobody else did it other than him. The second prophecy, when we use; Gematria; method of interpreting the Hebrew scriptures by computing the numerical value of words, based on those of their constituent letters. *It is also used to find hidden messages between words* Muhammadﷺ descendent of Ishmael, son of Abraham blessings be upon them, “And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will *greatly* (בִּמְאֹ֣ד מְאֹ֑ד /bim-ōd mə·’ōḏ ) increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a *great nation* (לְג֥וֹי גָּדֽוֹל/lə·ḡō·w gā·ḏō·wl) The verse where God blessed Ishmael, have words value that’s identical to prophet Muhammad’s name 92 = בִּמְאֹ֣ד מְאֹ֑ד= greatly 92 = לְג֥וֹי גָּדֽוֹל = A Great nation 92 =מחמד= Muhammad محمد This was in the Hebrew Bible for thousands of years. I found this online about it : In Song of Solomon 5:16, the maiden says of her lover, "His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem." The word translated as "lovely" is the Hebrew word ‘machamadim’. It is the plural of ‘machamad’, which means “lovely, cute, or desirable.” Although it is the root word of Muhammad, it does not follow that the verse refers to Muhammad, especially since the word used is a plural adjective, not the name of a person.
you understand the translation of the word, Good... but do you understand the Word used in that context beloved 🤣🤣 in that Verse context does not in any way Directly specify anything about a Mohamed coming in the future. the word in that context was not even the name of someone but clearly a expression of Love to God By the bride which is the Church 🤦♀️ what's Damnable about this Heresy is that If you Decide to Ascribe the Context of the word Mohamed is used in th3 Bible to the Mohamed in th3 quran. th3 context where that Verse is used refers to The "Beloved" as God . so you're saying Mohamed is God. which is Blaspheming because Mohamed is an Unholy man with 9 wives. and married a girl at 9 year old. and he Forgot to add the 10 commandment on the quran which means he is a False Prophet.
“Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] usages and say, ‘We hear and disobey’ and ‘Hear but be not heard’ and ‘Ra’ina,’ twisting their tongues and defaming the religion.” (Qur’an 4:46) “…and then distort the Torah after they had understood it while they were knowing?” (Qur’an 2:75) We learn that there were three kinds of alterations: 1.Changes in the words 2.Changes in the meaning of the word 3.Concealing the truth
Jeremiah 12:16-17 16 And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, ‘As the Lord lives,’ even as they taught my people to swear by Baal, then they shall be built up in the midst of my people. 17 But if any nation will not listen, then I will utterly pluck it up and destroy it, declares the Lord."
Semantically, the Hebrew term mohamadim comes from the root mahmad, meaning “desirable, sweet.” Conversely, in Arabic, the name Muhammad comes from the root hammd, which means “to praise” or” praiseworthy.” Hence, the Hebrew term mohamadim has no semantic parallel with Muhammad.

Please, I even saw a comment saying islam is a religion of satan, No. it’s not. Have you seen how Qatar has handled the World Cup? With Introducing islam too. If islam is as bad as you think, then there would’ve been countless spectators been killed and not able to go back home. Again, We believe in all prophet and the message that they bring is that Allah is one. There are no other god but Allah. Even Moses (pbuh), Isa/Jesus (pbuh) and Muhammad (pbuh) was sent as a mercy to mankind. They all carry and convey the same message. The prophet Muhammad has been described in the scriptures (Torah, bible) and the people that follow its teachings know him like their own son. But they turn away from the truth “Those We gave Scripture know it as well as they know their own sons, but some of them hide the truth that they know.” Al-Baqarah, Ayah 146 As my last words, do not judge a religion by its people, do some searchings, find and compare, there are many trusted sheikhs and priests that tells and conveys their religion in the right way. InshaAllah you will be guided.
I searched this verse. Muhammad is NOT mentioned once. "Muhammadin" means "precious" /"desirable" in Hebrew. I don't see how this is related in any way to Muhammad. I'm not religious so I'm really neutral on this. I came on this video by curiosity.
Muhammad, said to be mentioned by name in the Bible is impossible. Before the arrival of Islam, God for Christians was Jesus and one of the Gods for the Pagans at that time was Allah and also had 3 daughters. Allah is also one of the Gods of Muhammad's own father named Abdullah and happened to be the same God worshiped by the Muslims until today.
Also in Arabic has many meaning like - Deserving thanking and appreciation - be commended; extolled; laudable; praised; praiseworthy; commendable مُحَمَّد
hes lying .....in Hebrew mohamadim comes from the root mahmad, meaning “desirable, sweet.” Conversely, in Arabic, the name Muhammad comes from the root hammd, which means “to praise” or” praiseworthy.” Hence, the Hebrew term mohamadim has no semantic parallel with Muhammad.

It’s sad because the word used their is machamadim not mohammed im 🤦🏾♂️ not only that the word is used in other parts of the bible also Read sos and see if that refers to Mohammed a honest Muslim will never claim that
This Muslim speaker is INCORRECT. One must take that mic from him spreading and deceiving other Muslims. Mohammad is not mentioned. This gentleman is misinterpreting Hebrew. machmad: desire, desirable thing Original Word: מַחְמָד Part of Speech: Noun Masculine Transliteration: machmad Phonetic Spelling: (makh-mawd') Definition: desire, desirable thing If you really want to know the Hebrew translation, ask a person who knows Hebrew!
😂😂😂😂 I'm not surprised this is coming from a Christian, you need to understand that the word Mohammed its self as a name or as a word didnt exist in History except in that verse and at the time prophet Mohammed was Born 😁you're owned , I can show you also that the old testament even mentionsthe exact location of where prophet Mohammed was , it shows where hes from , it shows the exact location and it also shows what hes coming for , all that in the old testament 😁👆😂
@@OmyKon if you mean that some Chridtian or a Jew admits that its Mohammed then you need to check on your brain my friend 😂 this is like asking a Jew to believe in Jesus or asking a hindu to believe in any Abrahamic religion

If you use a Jewish book, I would find a Jew saying the same thing If I use a Hindu book, I would have to find a Hindu saying the same thing. Ahmed Dedat used a Jewish book. It is up to him to prove it from Jewish sources on their book! Not rocket science or it shows being biased.
So when we show them proof in the Bible that Jesus is God, they deny it and say the Bible is corrupted so it doesn't matter what it says, but when they could take advantage of a verse of the Bible they don't mention that "it's corrupted"
proofing that Jesus is god is an achievement in christianity?? also we prove that jesus is not God so that's a contradiction in the bible, that's the core of your belief God cannot be a man mentioned in the bible: ‘God is not a man’ (Numbers 23:19) ‘For I am God, and not man’ (Hosea 11:9) Jesus is a man mentioned in the bible: ‘a man who has told you the truth’ (John 8:40) ‘Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.’ (Acts 2:22) ‘He will judge the world in righteousness through a man whom He has appointed’ (Acts 17:31) ‘the man Christ Jesus’ (Tim. 2:5) that's enough.
@@cozerian I'm an atheist. I have to say I wasn't aware of the meaning of the trinity. Where I grew up it was never mentioned to me that Jesus is god. BUT everyone that believes in god says he is almighty. If he indeed is almighty then I see no problem in him splitting himself in 2 parts and having one take on the form of a man. 🤷♂️ An almighty god could split himself up an infinit amount of times and take on every form of existence ever. You all agree that he has no limits and nothing is impossible for him. Whatever we humans can think of your god can do, you say. Sooo... where is the problem with Jesus? Or is it that god could NOT take on a human form and walk amongst us? By saying he can't you would have to admit that he isn't almighty. So which one is it? Either god is almighty and Jesus is possible or he isn't and both sides can stop arguing...
@@benjaminkramer3607 you're telling me god had sex with Mary for Jesus to come in a human form? why wouldn't he just come from the sky? can't he do that? I mean he already revived the dead, and the bible says "his body" was risen. Also God can just send prophets and give them miracles just like moses and abraham. God indeed can do everything but he WOULD NOT become his own creation, and then die somehow. you can go have sex with a sheep but would you do it? no, hopefully. The same goes for god, he can come into the world but that's not something a God would do.
@@cozerian I am no theist so I can't answer all your questions. I just think that both muslims and christians are really misguided when they argue with each other. As atheist I am able to watch both sides unbiased. I read both the Qur'An and the Bible out of curiousity. I can try to answer your questions rationally as an outside observer. As far as I understand it noone ever said that God had sex with Mary... 😅 You should not say that. 🙄 Jesus didn't heal people by performing surgery, right? He did it by miracles. So did God when he put Jesus in Mary's womb. She is called the virgin Mary after all. Of course he could have done it differently. You just said it yourself. God can do whatever he wants. Why did he do it that way? I don't know. But you muslims do say "Allah knows best", right? As far as I understand it God wanted to show his people that he is close to them. That he cares. That he loves them and that he isn't far away. That he is right by their side. So he mimiced us and walked by our side. How else could he show this better other than walking amongst us in flesh? For people being able to see him, speak to him, touch him and share humanly feelings and bonds with him? I do understand that being 100% god and 100% human sounds outlandish. I'm an atheist after all. So I do share your view on this to some extend. But if you look at it with an open mind. Without seeing christians as enemies. Wouldn't it be possible for Allah to do this? If you cross out the sex stuff and exchange it with a miracle and look at what I told you how I understand it, wouldn't it make sense? Both sides see Allah/God as all loving, right? So why wouldn't he want to do that? At the end you said "a God wouldn't do that". How do you know what God would or wouldn't do? I know this might sound funny coming from someone like me, but if God/Allah truly exists, I think it would NOT be up to us to know what he would or wouldn't do. Allahu A'alam, right?
@@benjaminkramer3607 "God comes into his creation and die" "it would NOT be up to us to know what he would or wouldn't do", obviously a God wouldn't do that, one of the names of God is "المجيد", he has all glory, honor, and dignity, he wouldn't become his creation and come to his creation and die on a cross somehow , for our .. sins?? Allah said in Sorah Ikhlas: In the name of God, most gracious, most merciful >, this translates to "Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “He is Allah-One ˹and Indivisible˺", the word used here is "أحد" "A'had" which means he is one, and only, and he is not divided, instead of "واحد" "Oa'hid", which means one. Also the main reason God wouldn't come to earth is to test us, coming into earth just breaks the whole thing, you have free will, you chose whether to believe or not to believe. Also why wouldn't he divide himself to 1000 parts and come to earth instead of sending prophets like he used to? I mean he also gave them miracles, I don't know how Jesus' miracles made him God. "So did God when he put Jesus in Mary's womb" Jesus the "God" who need God to come into Mary's womb, brilliant. Allahu A'alam "Allah knows best" is used when you don't know or you doubt something, it has nothing to do here, it is a red line set by God.
To any Christian remotely familiar with Song of Solomon, the first appropriate response to this argument is honestly a hearty laugh. This is obviously a love song between Solomon and his bride, and to put Muhammad in the place of the bride’s beloved turns the book into nonsense. The context is clearly about the passionate love of a marriage and is sometimes rather descriptive. It could not possibly be about some future prophet bringing a new book. Additionally, the argument hinges on the idea that, in the original Hebrew, the personal name of Muhammad is there. It plainly is not. The Hebrew word “machmad” means “desirable” or when used as a noun, “desirable thing” or “lovely thing.” The plural form used here, “machamadim,” is an emphatic form and so is translated “wholly desirable” or “altogether lovely.” The fact that it sounds kind of like a name in another language from a different time period is obviously irrelevant to the meaning of the word. This word is used throughout the Old Testament. It is not a unique word. If the word secretly means the personal name “Muhammad,” then in places like Hosea 9:16 where God pronounces judgment on Ephraim and promises to slay even “your beloved” (machamadim) we should read this as a promise by God that He would slay Muhammad in judgment, right? Jesus is Son of God
This is an obvious falsity based on ignorance and/or deception. “Allah Akbar” means Allah is the greatest (a more literal translation is; Allah is greater). Akbar (اكبر) refers to greatest. In Hebrew the word for mouse is Achbar (עַכְבָּר). In the Hebrew word for “mouse” (achbar עַכְבָּר), the kaf כ (the second letter, reading from right to left) omits the dagesh (the dot in the middle of the letter [1]) therefore the pronunciation of achbar is not with a “k” sound but with a “ch” sound (“ch” as in the Scottish “loch” or the German “achtung”). Thus, anybody who is familiar with the pronunciation of both languages will know AllahuAkbar does NOT mean Allah is a mouse in Hebrew. They are pronounced noticeably dissimilar to each other. In fact, the key Hebrew letter (Kaf כ) would not even sound like ﻚ in Arabic, it would sound like ﺥ
That pathetic christian pig argument. Is that the person that you trust. The only reason he wins in any argument is because he mutes everyone, and he mostly debates shia who are basically christians that believe in prophet Muhammad peace and blessings upon him. They have just as many contradictions in their religion as christians. Btw most shia are non muslims… just like how you believe Jesus peace upon him is God some believe that ali is the creator . They are closer to you than us😂
I am Muslim and this is what the ChatGPT gave me The name "מוחמד" (Mohammed) and the term "מַֽחֲמַדִּ֑ים" (Mahamadim) are related but have different meanings. - "מוחמד" (Mohammed) is the name of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad. - "מַֽחֲמַדִּ֑ים" (Mahamadim) is a Hebrew word meaning "desirable" or "delightful." It's used in the Song of Songs to describe the beloved. They have similar sounds but are distinct terms with different meanings and contexts.
Isiah 42 - mohammed. His life is the proof. Its there. And the gospels tell us we have things to hear we cannot bear now. Christianitt does not gice us these things we cannot bear, the quran does.
Let's say it's true..if a whole book refers to Mohammed in only 1 line then..he is not important! One other thing is how can a book that was written before islam appears in the world talking about Islam?
There is one secret that the Christian's don't always say: If songs of Solomon are about Muhammad here are 4 other verse with the same word speaking about Muhammad: Ezekiel 24:21 [21]Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, Muhammad and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left *shall fall by the sword* Hosea 9:16 [16]Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, *yet will I slay even Muhammad* fruit of their womb. Ezekiel 24:25 [25]Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when *I take from them their strength* , the joy of their glory, *Muhammad* , and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters And one more! This is a good one: Lamentations 2:4 NKJV Standing like an enemy, He has bent His bow; With His right hand, like an adversary, He has slain all Muhammad; On the tent of the daughter of Zion, He has poured out His fury like fire. Either you can believe Deedat when he says Muhammad fits Within the Holy Kitab, and then you must also believe all of these examples as well. Or you can no believe Muhammad is found in the Holy Kitab. Up to you! Either way all those who are truly mushlimim read and believe in the Holy Kitab the Holy Bible of the Christian and the Jews. Or the Quran says you will face humiliated punishment.. do they not know?
These devils don't want their own people to know the truth that's why when you check something simple with reference from the bible on the Internet, you'll be going round and around in circles and In the end you'd be lucky IF YOU FIND IT

Song of Songs is talking about Solomon and his wife: 1. The woman exists in the time when Solomon existed (Song of Songs 8/11-12) It makes more sense that her beloved is Solomon than Muhammad who didn't exist back then 2. It was Solomon's wedding day (Song of Songs 3/11) It makes sense that this bridegroom is Solomon who had wedding at that time 3. He drinks wine (Song of Songs 5/1, 8/2) Muhammad didn't drink wine as it is strictly forbidden in Islam Solomon drank wine (Ecclesiastes 2/3) 4. He has a garden (Song of Songs 4/16, 5/1, 6/2) There is no information that Muhammad had garden Solomon had multiple gardens (Ecclesiastes 2/4-5) 5. The woman is called "the Shulamite/ha-shulamit" (Song of Songs 6/13) Muhammad didn't have a woman called "the Shulamite" Solomon had a woman called "the Shunamite/ha-shunamit" (1 Kings 2/17) "Ha-shulamit/ha-shunamit" means woman from Shunam/Shulam just like "ha-mitsrit" means woman from Egypt (Genesis 21/9) and "ha-kenaanit" means woman from Canaan (Genesis 46/10) Ancient israeli city Shunem (Joshua 19/18; 2 Kings 4/8) is identified with modern arab village Sulam in north-eastern Israel. "Sulam" is arabic pronunciation of hebrew "Shulam" because Hebrew "Sh" is interchangeable with Arabic "S": Yishmael (ישמעאל) - Ismail (إسماعيل) - Ishmael Mosheh (משה) - Musa (موسى) - Moses Yeshua (ישוע) - Yasu' (يسوع) - Jesus Elisha (אלישע) - Alyasa (اليسع) - Elisha Shalom (שלום) - Salam (سلام) - Peace Lashon (לשון) - Lisan (لسان) - Tongue Shanah (שנה) - Sanah (سنة) - Year Shen (שן) - Sin (سن) - Tooth Therefore, "the Shulamite" and “the Shunamite” are the same 6. He says "there are 60 queens and 80 concubines and virgins without number" (Song of Songs 6/8) Muhammad didn't have such number of concubines and his women (Khadija, Aisha, Zainab etc) were not queens or princesses Solomon had 700 wives and princesses and 300 concubines in the older age (1 Kings 11/3-4). Therefore, in Song of Songs, Solomon is younger and the number of his concubines and queens/princesses didn't grow yet to such great number 7. He says "my filly among Pharaohs chariots" (Song of Songs 1/9) Solomon and Pharaoh co-existed (1 Kings 3/1) and Solomon had chariots and horses from Egypt (1 Kings 10/28-29, 2 Chronicles 9/25) Now explanation of the word "mahamaddim" Its root word is the verb *"ḥamad" (חָמַד)* - to desire: "The wicked *desireth (ḥamad חָמַד)* the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit" (Proverbs 12/12) *Maḥmad (מַחְמַד)* comes from *ḥamad (חָמַד)* and means "desirable, pleasant" "And it shall be, that whatever is *pleasant (maḥmad מַחְמַד)* in your eyes, they will put it in their hands and take it" (1 Kings 20/6) *Maḥamaddim* (מַחֲמַדִּים) is the plural form of *Maḥmad* (מַחְמַד): "His mouth is *most sweet (mamtaqqim* מַמְתַקִּים) and he is altogether *lovely (maḥamaddim* מַחֲמַדִּים) (Song of Songs 5/16) For why plural of "Maḥmad" is "Maḥamaddim" instead of "Maḥmadim", it's just how some words are pluralized, for example, *Maḥšaḵ/מַחְשָׁךְ* (Isaiah 29/15) → *Maḥašakkim/מַחֲשַׁכִּים* (Lamentations 3/6) *Mamtaq* (מַמְתַק) and *Maḥmad* (מַחְמַד) are pluralized to make them intensive, i.e. "very sweet" and "very desirable". Some people say that -im means it is a name but it would mean that "mamtaqqim" is the name of his mouth *Maḥamaddeinu (מַחֲמַדֵּינוּ), maḥamaddeiha (מַחֲמַדֶּיהָ), maḥamaddeihem (מַחֲמַדֵּיהֶם)* are plurals with pronouns *"nu" (נוּ/our), "ha" (הָ/her), "hem" (הֶם/their):* "Our holy and beautiful temple, Where our fathers praised You, Is burned up with fire; And all *our pleasant things (maḥamaddeinu מַחֲמַדֵּינוּ)* are laid waste" (Isaiah 64/11) The adversary has spread his hand Over all *her pleasant things (maḥamaddeiha מַחֲמַדֶּיהָ);* For she has seen the nations enter her sanctuary, Those whom You commanded Not to enter Your assembly. All her people sigh, They seek bread; They have given *their valuables (maḥamaddeihem מַחֲמַדֵּיהֶם)* for food to restore life. «See, O LORD, and consider, For I am scorned.» (Lamentations 1/10-11) *"Im" (ים)* changes to *"ei" (י)* after adding pronouns: *Banim* (בָּנִים/sons) + *nu* (נוּ/our) = *baneinu* (בָּנֵינוּ/our sons) *Elohim* (אֱלֹהִים/God) + *nu* (נוּ/our) = *Eloheinu* (אֱלֹהֵינוּ/our God) *Maḥamaddim* (מַחֲמַדִּים/pleasant things) + *nu* (נוּ/our) = *maḥamaddeinu* (מַחֲמַדֵּינוּ/our pleasant things) *Maḥamaddei (מַחֲמַדֵּי)* is plural in the Construct State, meaning "of": "Ephraim is stricken, Their root is dried up; They shall bear no fruit. Yes, were they to bear children, I would kill *the darlings (maḥamaddei מַחֲמַדֵּי)* of their womb" (Hosea 9/16) "He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were *pleasant (maḥamaddei מַחֲמַדֵּי)* to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire" (Lamentations 2/4) *"Im" (ים)* changes to *"ei" (י)* in the Construct State: *Banim* (בָּנִים/sons) + Yisrael (יִשְׂרָאֵל/Israel) = *Banei* Yisrael *(בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל/Sons* of Israel) *Elohim* (אֱלֹהִים/God) + Avraham (אַבְרָהָם/Abraham) = *Elohei* Avraham *(אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם/God* of Abraham) *Maḥamaddim* (מַחֲמַדִּים/darlings) + vitnam (בִטְנָם/their womb) = *maḥamaddei* vitnam *(מַחֲמַדֵּי בִטְנָם/the darlings* of their womb) "Maḥamaddim" can't be name because the previous word is "wə-ḵul-low" (וְכֻלּ֖וֹ) which means "and all of him is" or "and he is altogether". After that phrase there should be an adjective, not a name. Saying "all of him is Muhammad" or "he is altogether Muhammad" doesn't make sense, because you can't also say "he is a little bit Muhammad" or "little of him is Muhammad". It makes more sense say "all of him is desirable" (NKJV) or "he is altogether lovely" (KJV) If this word means Muhammad, it would mean that: 1) Solomon is altogether Muhammad (Song of Songs) 2) Ezekiel's wife is Muhammad (Ezekiel 24/16) 3) Jewish temple is Muhammad (Ezekiel 24/21) 4) Muhammad was laid waste (Isaiah 64/11) 5) Muhammad of Ephraim's womb will be killed (Hosea 9/16) 6) God killed everyone who was Muhammad to the eye (Lamentations 2/4) 7) Muhammad was given for food (Lamentations 1/11) 8) Muhammad is made of silver (Hosea 9/6) 9) All Muhammad of Jerusalem was destroyed (2 Chronicles 36/19) All these verses use the same word in slightly different forms which doesn't change the general meaning of the word. In English saying "book", "books", "our books", "books of" doesn't change the meaning of the word "book"
