at 3:47 you told 'Let us get our constants in one side and the x terms in the others'. Sir, You shouldn't just say 'constants' since 3x and 2x have constants in them (3 & 2). You should tell 'constant terms' and the 'x terms' as literals but your way of explaining is very satisfying.

Well, that is the systematic method of solving equations. We all know that RHS = LHS. They both should be balanced. Compare it to a weight balance in shops. If we add equal weight in both of the sides, they remain balanced. Similarly, if we remove, multiply and divide equal weight from the sides, it remain balanced. In this case, RHS and LHS are the 2 sides of the weight balance. If we add,subtract,multiply, divide both the sides, it will be equal +p2o8wer If he subtracted 3x from each then 2x - 3x would be -x and 3x-3x = 0. It will be hard to solve but you can do it !
@@p2o8wer sorry for contributing late. But by using the 3x instead, u would get a negative ans and would hve to g through the trouble of dividing by negative 1 again. But with 2x it gives a postive ans. Thank you
i am in an advanced math class however i was not ready for this so i was a little behind i finished the 2nd trimester with an F however using your lessons helps me to understand these concepts and now on my progress report i have an A- thank you for these videos.
I'm confused it's just so many steps that it's hard to process this. I'm taking a math course in college and I'm 34 but still really struggling with it.

What if on the first example the two don't divide evenly? Please help Edit: because in my problem 3/n = 6/5 it becomes 6n=15 and the cans divide evenly
