I am so glad to know that Stephen. I had the same experience at the beginning and many things were not clear in the instruction manuals. I had to 'discover' unlocking and moving the black brackets from the bars by pressing the loosened screw. At some point, almost I was going to damaging it. At that point, I have decided to make this video.

Yes they are awesome design and finishing A class. Blend nicely wiht the car. Prorack is Aust and NZ based. Not sure if you can get in Mexico. www.prorack.com.au/. You can contact them or look on ebay/amazon. Last resort, I can help you from here if needed.

Unfortunately we cannot do that due to 2 reasons. First, there are 8 holes for 4 sets clamps in the roof rails. We need to place the gripping clamps into these holes. Second, two roof-rails are not parallel. Hence, the 2 roof racks are different in length. Any displacement will not allow it to hold correctly.

@@live-pixels Yeah, I could see those holes. That's so bad. We can adjust for the other cars, but not Mitsubishi Outlander.

Are they same kit? Try to follow step by step what I did. You will be alright.

You need to put plastic plugs (if not have the original then make with something) so that water dust do not go inside. I just realised what you have asked. tnx

@@live-pixels Hi. I don't have the original ones. Because it has the roof rack when I bought, I removed it because I only use it once or twice a year for going for camping. Then there are the holes in roof rails. So sad. What plastic do you suggest? Do you have an example?

@@taron.gaming Hi You could easily get a set from a wrecker who got 2012-2020 model outlander with the rails. Gumtree or marketplace sometime post outlander wreckings.
