📣 UPDATE: Enjoy a fun night of comedy & a real dance floor to party on at Club 54! How could we ever forget a staple in Burlington’s nightlife community -- when I created this video I didn’t realize they had a focus on a Toronto nightlife vibe & from their videos, looks like a great time! 🔥 👇🏽 Check them out if you’re looking for a night of dancing ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZF-6j-Paqxw.html
Burlington is closer geographically than Hamilton if you work in Toronto. Go transit is available to get into downtown Toronto. It can get pricey for houses in Burlington, but they are far more reasonable than what you would pay in Toronto. Property taxes are better than Hamilton. The community is safe and a great place to raise kids.
Thanks for the synopsis 😊 Burlington has lots of great things to offer! I will say, Hamilton also offers the GO & has an amazing amount of charm as well, so if the prices in Burlington are holding you back, Hamilton also has options 😉
Thanks so much Brian! It's always great to see locals are also enjoying the videos 😊 I went to high school in Oakville & can absolutely understand why you wouldn't want to move - so many great communities!
Thanks so much for watching & for always passing my name along to friends & family ❤️ Always feels amazing to have past clients still enjoying the content!
Thank so much for your patience! It's a lot of work creating these videos & I want to bring valuable content vs just getting something out there 😊 Thanks again for watching & for coming along on these tours 🙏
I'd also add that a Different Drummer Books, downtown at Caroline & Locust St, is one of Canada's best known indie bookstores. Opened originally in 1970 and still a destination for people from Hamillton, Oakville and Mississauga. A gem
I love Different Drummer! It's where I pick up all of my local history books & a neighbour had her book signing there as well - a total gem in the community! Thanks so much for bringing it up 😊
Thanks so much Samuel! They are a labour of love and there is just so much to share! Appreciate you watching & hopefully I'll get to say hi in person one day :D
Wow. Burlington has changed a lot since I lived there in the latter part of the 80’s. It’s still a beautiful, peaceful city. It was the only city that almost twinned my hometown of Peterborough. I love the location between Toronto, Hamilton and other major centres. Stay great Burlington ❤️
Thanks so much TJ! It's a lot of work trying to compile all of this information & love I have for Burlington -- can't wait to branch out & cover some more of the cities/towns I serve 🙌 So happy you've stumbled across my channel & I'm here to help whenever you're ready or have questions! 😊
@@TJSlatch I went back and forth about posting the prices in the videos but they are changing so rapidly on a month by month basis. Wanting to allow these videos to have some long term shelf life, I chose to post the benchmark prices on my website for each area. That way I can update as needed & the videos take a much longer time to become “stale”
@@TheGenuineRealtors i know the real estate market in canada is very hot from past 2-4 years. But you can post the final “sold price” if it is sold and if not then asking price, which will help to know the market in Burlington
@@TheGenuineRealtors It was the best decision. I haven't stopped singing your praises to friends and family. Anyone thinking about moving to the area should give you a call because of how hard you work for your clients. We appreciate everything you did helping us in calling Burlington home.
Thanks so much for watching the video! I wish I were able to cover Calgary -- it's got some amazing places as well! But unfortunately it's a long distance from where I am & in another province altogether (Alberta).
There are fantastic & award winning restaurants in Burlington, but yes, we absolutely get to travel into Hamilton to enjoy their awesome eats as well! The video isn't about Hamilton, but they were mentioned for having the things that we don't have at all (like professional sports teams). Just like we are beside Oakville but I didn't mention their amazing marinas or trails either... Pros & Cons of Burlington is just about Burlington 😊 There is a Hamilton playlist on my channel as well if you're looking for more on the Hamilton side, Oakville will be coming in the months ahead 🙌
@@TheGenuineRealtors my favourite restaurants in Burlington. Di Mario. Lord Nelson and for casual Jake’s. Great atmosphere and the food is consistently good.
Most of the neighbourhoods are great for renting -- but where you end up will depend on what exactly you're looking for 😊 Feel free to email me & I can help you navigate what might work best for you. Hello@GenuineRealtor.com
Hey great question & hopefully I can navigate this in a way that makes sense - there are rules in place when it comes to sharing specifics (Fair Housing Laws) so, what I can do is email you a copy of the city’s demographic breakdown based on the last census. It gives you some unbiased, factual insights to help you make your decision. Happy to email you a copy - just shoot me an email reminding me what you were looking for & I’ll send your way! Hello@GenuineRealtor.com
Thanks so much for watching & it will depend completely on your line of work as well as how far you are willing to commute each day... Feel free to email me what you’re looking to do for work & I can share my thoughts 😊 hello@genuinerealtor.com
Hi Omid 👋🏼 Both are very similar. It’s more proximity to the lake that will dictate the temperature in both Cities… so in the Spring/Summer it’s typically cooler by the lake & in the Fall/Winter, it’s typically warmer by the lake 😊
That's a new one for me! I've never been asked for a Breathalyzer in Burlington & I drive at all hours of the day/night 🤷🏻♀ Ride programs at the on & off ramps downtown I've driven through, but hey, at least that means there are fewer drunk drivers out there 🙌
Hi there! Thanks for watching & taking the time to leave a comment :) Without knowing much of the details of what you are looking for, a quick search of 5+ bedroom homes in Burlington shows 22 currently for sale - $1.25 Million - $11.9 Million (CAD$) The schools here are wonderful & if you have a specific area in mind I could let you know more -- but not sure what Masjid is so can't help you with that one until we get a chance to chat more :)
That was mentioned in the video and unfortunately seems to be the only way communities that are built out like Burlington will meet the density requirements the province has instilled 😕
