I'm not anxious about going to school, my entire life I have no problem doing the assignments but then I get the main test and I freaked the f*** out. Literally hands shaking, eyes twitching and profuse sweating, legs shaking. Its my fear of failure.

Same here, well I already brought it up almost each few days… They get so mad about it- It was way easier for all of my family during online school, and I might’ve been kinda lonely but it was way better for me, and I still got to see my friends each few weeks

I love online school so much it’s helped me a lot I really did not enjoy being in a school setting I have dealt with extreme stress since I was in 4th grade and my stress level was awful in high school I definitely recommend online school if you can handle it

No public school can give as much liberty and flexibility as an online school. My cousin is doing his Grade 10 from International schooling, a cognia accredited school and she is enjoying the process

Thank you so much for this video!! School was extremely stressful for me during my sophomore year. So I want to take a break for my junior year for my mental health and such. This video helped me decide and helped me to convince my grandma to let me take online courses :)

Great points here! I’ve considered teaching online for years now. Sleep, your own schedule, more time, no commute or loud classes. The walls may close in some after a bit but overall it Sounds amazing.

It depends. I have actual teachers who teach me every day, they know my name and assist me where needed. My whole year has a group where we discuss work and help each other out.

I’ve done all of highschool online and have decided to go to public school with my bsf for senior year :) so it’s definitely fun but it’s hard seeing friends doing fun school activities while you’re at home. They both definitely have pros and cons!! :D

this video was so helpful in terms of how online school *really* is! i love how it wasn't all glitz and glam, so people (like me lol) really know what they're getting into. honestly I'm very used to being alone, I love it in fact, but the self motivation part is something I def need to work on. but thank u too much for this video, even four years later hehe

I’m in 8th grade and I’m too advanced for all the schools around me. Its also hard to run an online business and keep up with my athletics when I’m studying and doing homework. Online school seems to be the way to go

I personally like online school more then regular since 1 I’m not the type of guy you see walking around talking to people answering questions If your a loner and is ok with that and doesn’t really want friends from school then yeah online school should be good for u you just got to stay focused 2 it makes me free like I have more freedom I can just walk up and go to bathroom in online school and no one really cares but in public u gotta ask and they could even say no like t f

My online school has live lessons it's a proper online but still the live lessons start at 8 and we have breaks in between each class usually school ends at 1:50 but sometimes it ends at 12 or 11 so it's still good , I'm doing online because schools too toxic for me and I need to focus on my goals btw I'm 13 I'm starting next week I hope it goes well😪 also great videos I have no idea why you dont have alot of subs you are really good 💗

This is my second year doing college online. Some semesters are easier than others. It really depends on the course load. I knew it would be the right choice for me but I can relate to the cons mentioned in the video. It definitely can suck sometimes.

When doing this to handle anxiety and panic, what’s the next step beyond online high school? Online university, online work? At what point do you eventually have to reckon with the anxiety and panic?

i ended up going to in person university because i did improve my anxiety coping skills enough to be able to go, but at the time when i started online high school my anxiety was so new and so severe that if i didn’t take school out of the equation for awhile to better get a handle on it i don’t think i would’ve been able to improve in that way. not to mention, i missed ~30 days a semester and could never pay attention in class because of how anxious and nauseous i felt. i am now graduated from college and my anxiety is just as severe and prevalent - it never goes away and is something that i will just need to deal with forever, but i have learned how to understand my triggers and cope with it better. it isn’t something that i can “face” and then it will go away forever, but moreso a disability that may need some accommodations in situations like university and the workplace

I really wanna do online , but i’m not sure plus my parents would most likely say no because they think it’s not a good way to learn , & i don’t trust myself what if i don’t feel motivated to do it you know? but in person school is so bad for me i have really bad anxiety too like i start school in a WEEK and i’m literally panicking bro. 😣 BUT last year i was doing good on online ! like obviously covid sucks but i was happy cus i was at home and i was doing all my work ! i was actually getting better grades than i was IN school. So yeah that’s why i’m thinking about it , idk if i’ll do good or not. Also it’ll be for my señior year ! dont wanna make the wrong choice and fall behind 😕

I personally want to switch to public school again ive been to public school but the school sucked- I can't really socialize much in online school and because of that everyone in my class just ignores me other than my teachers.. idk how to convince my parents about going to public school my best friend is going to high school next year so all my old friends will be there but its hard because they all pretty much ghosted me so idk how to tell my parents pros and cons of how I want to go to public school.. it was a public online school! i graduated in may 2019 from there and i am going to a regular college now (not online) as a freshman :)

I was forced to do online and i still do it and im not happy, for me i miss the social interaction and im just so bored. I have so much time on my hands. I do all my homework and hone in on my craft for a few hours and still have so much time. I miss real school.

@@ec.clouds it actually ends pretty quick for me ending at like 1 pm or 3pm depending on your electives and i do really good inside of it since ive been getting a b honor roll for the past 4 years. its also easier to focus on your work as long as there arent any distractions where you are. honestly if you have a hard time in public school you may want to consider the switch as long as you are determined and set for it

I do pearson online classroom and I have two really good friends and we have each others phone numbers and we r like best friends and then I have some other friends but I just talk to them when we have class in priv chat so just to let yall know if you do that school you will make friends btw im going into sixth grade so my user has my name look for me in classes

I am not entirely sure the difference that it makes to the universities, but i did get into NYU and Umich having gone to an online school. I think the other factors like grades, extracurriculars, essays, etc. are more important factors!

I unfortunately did not really 😭 but if i could go back I would’ve kept in touch with my school friends a lot more and made a point to hang out with them. otherwise you kinda just stop talking and lose touch with everyone
