I owned a 2018 F Pace with 47,000 miles and now own a 2023F Pace with 10,500 miles and have experienced zero issues, I do not think that Jaguar really deserves the bad reputation on the latest models, I think a lot of reviews just repeat previous reviews as a matter of course.I also do not agree with your opinion on the 8 speed transmission, it is plenty fast and responsive, as for your statement of not being stable past 80 miles an hour is just plain wrong, sorry but it is .
DUDE!! You keep doing these kinds of reviews … you WILL be my Go-To guy! I will not only subscribe .. I’ll become a supporter!! This is the info people need!! In this review, you were on point! Thank you for a proper review ( for me ) and not being a fanboy.. you rocked this. I must check for your other reviews like this 👍🏾
Thanks Mark I really appreciate that! I’m glad the content was useful, I def try my best to provide a real world perspective and not just read off a spec sheet
I just viewed CarConfection review channel & they were testing the 2022 Audi Q8 E-Tron Sportsback which is gorgeous! Of course there's some significant drawbacks like only 200 mile range & for the top of the line Prestige model will run you $91K! Hey Kevin, sure like to see you review this, the regular Q8 & the Telsa Y compared to the E-Tron...Cheers!
This Jaguar is a trophy car that will definitely impress your neighbors & co-workers just like a "Trophy Wife", but just like that "Trophy Wife" there's high maintenance cost associated with it!
I think you’re right about 75k being the minimal entry cost for truly enjoyable european cars. It’s sad but true. Personally I’m not a fan of the Macan or the cayenne so the minimum cost of entry for a 4 door Porsche is like 100k imo (for a decently specced RWD taycan)
Hi Kevin, Just writing to say hello. I was watching one of your many previous videos, in this case your review of the 2017 Lexus CT 200h. I should be done with all your videos by 2023 when I finally get to this Jaguar F Pace video. I'm sure by then, this Jaguar should be selling for under 10k. Peace man, Ravi Peiris M.D.
Beautiful, but if down the road money means anything at all, get the Porsche. Jaguar even with a warranty, is still is a pain with the gremlins, and resale sucks, but she is a looker. Love the honest and informative reviews minus bias, keep em coming.
Oh wow I’m surprised but yea I heard the Porsches unfortunately didn’t work out for you. This F Pace is a bit constricted in the back as well not going to lie. This is a crazy curve ball but have you considered the new Tahoe, Yukon, or Escalade? Those things are massive.. & massive gas hogs unfortunately
@@MeynMotorGroup can't remember if I updated you on why the cayenne didn't work out. But in short, it's almost impossible to find one with everything I need: mainly lane keep steering assist and adaptive cruise which I need for the long haul journeys as I have right ankle issues. Cayenne also a little too large. The Fpace is manageable length wise, is a little wide but the boot space is similar to a cayenne despite being like 10cm shorter. Haven't test driven one yet but all the reviews point to me liking the car. It's easily the best looking SUV, has amazing driving dynamics, only real downsides are the potential quality issues. 2021 year is too pricey at the moment for me. Maybe I wait a while or get a 2019 model for the time being. Who knows, after I test drive it I may have a different conclusion haha. BTW I live in UK.
@@MeynMotorGroup The only other contender is the XC60. Less of a drivers car but super comfy and great pilot assist. Only downside is slightly smaller boot size and reliability of electronics.
Ah I gotcha yea Porsche options were messy to begin with so every Porsche is specced super different. F Pace is a nice little car with 6 cylinder and smaller wheels I do like it’s character. XC60 is cool I just noticed a lot of unnecessary body movement over bumps/terrain but def test drive it to see if you like it. Range Rover Velar wasn’t bad
Jaguar are in very deep trouble, the sale numbers go the last few years extremely down. They hope now that after 2025 if Jaguar come with the new EV´s to the market that they can sell more cars and make money again. Thanks Kevin.
As far as non performance SUVs are concerned, I really like the Lexus RX350, Acura MDX, & Mercedes GLE450. Genesis GV70 is also another to consider. Performance wise you’re better off with a Porsche Macan S. I like the new Audi SQ5 but the transmission performance isn’t the best so Porsche might be the way to go.
Pretty excellent really like Mercedes AMG cars easily the most exciting cars from Germany. Just keep in mind when you buy the C Class level vehicles the interior quality isn’t quite as nice, it will creak & rattle a bit more than their more expensive cars. But the V8 is worth it. The 53 models are also worth considering still exciting while getting a tad better gas mileage if that matters
@@MeynMotorGroup Damn, you got me thinking now, I really wanted the F pace but you put me off, I liked their interior too 🤣🤣🤣, so the best Mercedes suv would be the one I have mentioned?
Well my friend you are in a blessed position to be considering the cars that you are looking at. I loved driving the Jaguar Land Rover products and I think the SVR can be a blast. And yes I agree the interior is phenomenal in the Jag. It’s a new car with a warranty, if anything happens you’re covered. And yea the GLC63 is fun test drive them if possible but from a fun standpoint you won’t be disappointed in either of these cars
Your review is not true I try this car for two months it’s better than competitors you mentioned and this car is bigger it’s between the x3 and x5 in size and the engine is varied as you like as for the transmission of the car it’s excellent and very responsive
Just because this isn’t a glowing review with unicorns and rainbows doesn’t mean I don’t like driving this. Sh!t transmission aside the way it drives is nice and feels superior to the competitors but the sh!t transmission and sh!t reliability makes it hard to recommend. And size is pathetic in all of these cars. This is not the size of an X5 at all but the X5 doesn’t have much more space than this either so space sucks in all these Euro SUVs. Just because I’m objective about something doesn’t mean I hate it, do a better job listening and understanding
Congratulations glad you had a car that works. Still doesn’t take a way from the fact that there are vehicles with issues.. not sure why this is so difficult for some to understand that not every vehicle is made exactly the same. You can buy a Toyota that is a lemon it happens.
