Even when other RU-vidrs have already reviewed these sneakers. I know i can always count on HeKicks to either fully sale me on the pair. Or steer me away. Even before watching this one. He's really an average consumer and buys all his shoes. I think its more legit and easier to trust someone if they pay for the shoes with their own money. I can get a free pair of these and say there okay and not feel anything out of it. But when i used my own $120 ill probably say more and feel it more out of my pocket. You a real one man.

The EVA adds stability and affordability. UB/EQT Boost have like no stability in my experience and the DPR/Alphabounce is a really good daily

I have a few pairs and they feel like you're wearing a high quality shoe no matter what sport or exercise you do. They also turn heads and go well with any out fit from Jean's to sweats , shorts etc. They are a bit heavy but can be worn on a freezing cold day and you are warm and comfortable. 9 out of 10 for me.

I’ve been wearing these all day at the mall and the stretchy “utility strap” thing didn’t bother me at all. I really like them. They’re quite comfortable even though they don’t have boost. Which would be nice if they hollowed out that midsole and filled it with boost lol. And left the funky/chunky spiky midsole around it

How are they like Huaraches? Huaraches have rubber straps all over the sides and these have three rubber stripes going down them. They literally have none of those weird rubber decorative straps on the sides. And I have a pair or two of Huaraches. Have seen the prophere at the store. Nothing aesthetically similar between them really. lol

I’ve ordered a pair of these online in the new grey colourway - looks so much better than the black and red in my opinion. But I went into Schuh and noticed they had the black version and I picked them up and the first I noticed was the weight of them. That and the fact they’re a really chunky shoe but it’s cool cause I’m into more chunky retro looking shoes anyway. Just need to wait on them arriving 😂

Boost would be more comfortable, but I fear that the massive sole would gain creases far faster. I’m just getting into being more deliberate in my shoe purchases, and I just love how unique these look which was a major factor.

The EQT sole is thicker because the Prophere sole wraps around your foot more.

i wouldn't think its possible to incorporate boost into this model; probably built-in like yeezys but due to the design of the sole it'd be a lot harder to make a stand-alone boost sole... i mean, just look at the design of prophere, non of the boost soles are that adventurous. take a look at the 63 17's for example, i mean, sure... its got the design of a standard EQT sole but that sole isn't that out there either and the main part of the sole that slightly protrudes from the shoe is the back, whereas the prophere has protrusions going down the shoe (to add boost would probably make it unstable)

Commentor1 yes I have this exact pair of these and I agree with you that there are significantly heavier than most adidas shoes considering that most are boost and knit. But I feel a boost sole would take away from the aesthetic of the shoe. And it wouldnt stand out. Also it keeps the price point a lot lower. If you like shoes with the knit on top but don't want to pay upwards of 160 for a shoe this is a great option. If you like boost and its not for you then its not for you. But if you habent noticed most shoe models with in the last 6-8 month's that adidas have recently released dont have boost. Take the eqt. Basket ball. Its a comfortable shoe and dosent feature boost. Not to say that boost isnt incredible but not everything needs boost. Including this shoe. It would just make it into another 93/17. Or ultraboost and wouldnt stand out at all. Probably wouldnt even sell.

Commentor1 I just feel that if each model of adidas shoes come with boost. Then they won't stand Out. Maybe if they do the boost like on yeezys where its inside the sole and they can still keep the spikes look of the sole. But personally I like my prophets and don't mind the weight. But if youve worn Jordan's or 90 basketball shoes they tend to come with a lot of weight so its not that bad honestly. My biggest thing is if They can keep the look of the sole and maybe infuse some boost or bounce inside just to make it more comfy. Them go for it but by it being a life style shoe its not necessary.

Commentor1 hopefully these are just the test models and they will release them later with boost or bounce. And they are aboht the ssme weight as Jordan 5, 9, 11, and 12s. But I can agree that they are heavy and most of the weight does just drop cuz it's all sole. Uf your used to runnung shoes or even just casual shoes that tend to be very light. I can see why these are very heavy. Compared to like the NMD or a pair of Vans. These are like ankle weights.

Hi Hes, I think it was a good idea to make them heavy. It sets a benchmark that people shouldn't expect all their shoes to be boost. If you wear old sneakers from the '90's they are also heavy, and Timberlands are of course way more heavy.
