Hey loves! In this video I’ll be discussing the pros and cons of joining the Air Force early (i.e. fresh out of high school) and joining later (post college). I joined at age 24, about a year after I graduated from college with my Bachelor’s Degree from James Madison University (GO DUKES!) I’m 32 and leaving for BMT soon. One thing I worry about is the age gap between me and most of the really younger ones. I think about how many will be more than 10 years younger than me. I’m not sure how well I’ll connect with them. And many people my age, will outrank me quite a bit. I’ll feel kinda behind, i guess. I took too long to make up my mind. I really wished Enlisted at 25 or 26. But I’m going, I’m gonna hope for the best.

I’m 17 and I’m a junior this year , I’m graduating early in December and shipping out late January/early February! I’m so excited but I hope it’s the best thing for me !

I’ve been watching since before I left for boot camp. & I’m in tech rn with 3 more months to go 😩... I’m 23 just now joining & I agree coming in at 18 they don’t know how good they are setting themselves up frrrr!

Hi! I have so many questions about DLI I don’t even know where to begin! I’m graduating high school in a few weeks and I’m going to take a Chinese class in community college. I think I want to wait a year before I attempt to go to DLI, but if anyone that is there or had been there in recent years I’d love to chat and learn more!
