Thanks, great video. I lived in Long Beach for a year a few years ago, but otherwise have always lived in NJ by NYC. Strongly considering moving back to Long Beach next year, possibly Bixby Knolls.
@@livinginlongbeachcaliforni4674 That's great to hear. Keep up the great work. As my decision on moving emerges over the next few months, I will certainly be in touch if I decide to go back out west. Until then, I will continue to watch videos such as yours!
Like everything in California…..homes in Long Beach are crazy expensive….my parents bought a home in Long Beach in the north east portion of Long Beach in 1963. They paid $14,000 for a 1100 sqft 3 bedroom home. I looked it up on Zillow not to long ago and it was estimated to sell for $785,000 …..that is insane
Yes, prices are high in Long Beach, comparatively speaking. There are other areas nearby that are quite a bit higher...which is what makes Long Beach one of the best choices for beach cities. If you own property though...and hold on to it, this is how you build long-term wealth. If your parents still own that home, they've done quite well!
One of the cleanest and least congested areas of LB. MOST of the rest of it is dirty, overcrowded and congested with the most ridiculous lack of parking I’ve ever seen in a city.
California coastal cities can be crowded for sure and Long Beach is no exception. It is less expensive than other beach cities in Southern California and there are lots of nice areas. Much of downtown is very crowded and parking impacted...agreed.
