I agree with the lack of stability in the USA; came from IIT Delhi; with computer science; became a US citizen, worked in a Fortune 500 financial technology company; got laid off with another 600 associates when revenues were below expectations; took me 6 months to find the next job.
I’m so sorry to hear that but it’s great you found another job. I have so many people in my network too who are so smart and it took them so long to find jobs just due to the economy and companies not sponsoring visas.
Everyone on internet speaks about engineering, cs, it related courses and job scope but why is no one sharing anytime about the scope of sciences??? BIOTECH, BIOCHEM, MOLECULAR BIO, PHARMACOLOGY etc. It would be great to know if 🇺🇸 USA is good for students from these subjects
Mam I'm confused right now between choosing the country, i just need a boost to begin my career so I'm thinking of abroad. My plan is not to settle there in abroad and after few years i want to come back my home country India. What country should i choose? Your assistance would be a great help to me mam.
Good info. But a bit extra info- if u work at a non-profit organization, non-profit higher institution, entity associated w a non-profit organization(and more, pls research), are exempted from the lottery system.

Hello. I have completed my msc chemistry from India and now i m planning to move usa so please tell me about the course, which has High visa success rate.
Hyy there 🙋🏻♀️ I stopped here while scrolling for some relevant info. I want to pursue *TEACHING* as a profession, so i was looking for an opportunity to pursue it from the USA. Please if you have or if you can help me out for the good source from where it should be done, the complete information regarding the career in TEACHING as a primary or a pre primary teacher in the USA please help me out for this to get the complete information regarding the qualifications and the extras to be done. Will wait for the reply.
There is no such thing as On campus placement in US even in top univ like MIT, Purdue etc. With the recession ongoing , the situation seems bleak. So if you are really skilled in your domain with good work exp or are a prodigy than only come , else stay away for a while. I know a lot of people on linkedin with even 3+ yrs of exp in top product based companies in India not able to land even an internship let alone job offer. Also keep in mind no doubt US has a lot of jobs compared to any other country, but the real figure you should be looking is the number of companies that are ready to sponsor your visa ( I can assure you that number is very low). Hence take informed descision.
Don't know why anyone even goes to US, the shitty visa things, seriously? US govt forces companies to not hire foreign employees, that's why 90% companies say "no visa sponsorship." I have question tho, if anyone does UG CS but chooses MS in MIS, aren't they eligible for both management and software jobs?@@darshantawte7435
@@darshantawte7435bro what is the percentage of the fresher who get job after ms from low rank University not the top one and if we don't get good job in usa based mnc companies then what are the odd jobs there and will we get these odd job as well
@@darshantawte7435if a master's student is not able to get a job in 90 days after graduation then how students maintain their visa status. I am planning to do my master's from reston, Virginia
Hey, Thanks for making this video. it was super helpful and well-explained. I just wanna know how you get a scholarship as a foreign student. I'm studying English literature in college right now and planing to apply for the filmmaking course at NYU. any suggestions/ tips for scholarship?
Hey thanks for watching! If you already checked the website for any existing scholarships, then the next best bet is to email the department or dept head to convey your intention and see if they have something. Many departments do not list department jobs sometimes that might come with a tuition waiver.
Hi there, any masters focused in engineering should be good in US visa norms wise since you get 3 years on STEM but make sure you enjoy what you come to study!!
Coule u plz suggest BSC ( hons)data analytics 4 years course in Under graduation or Bca (hons) data science 4 yrs course in under graduation students.. is it worth to do MS in USA.. As u have mentioned it will come under STEM courses .. but not engineering schemes Plz suggest
Aapke jo required courses Rehte unhe complete karne pe harr subject mei usually 3 credits milte, you need around 30 credits or more to get a masters degree
@kirtichauhan: • Admission to MBA is far more difficult than for MS. • Almost all MBA courses are of 2 years duration. So, you'd have to budget living expenses for 2 years. • Not all MBAs are STEM designated, so OPT extension wouldn't be available. • Without scholarship, tuition and fees for MBA in a good university is between ₹60 to ₹75 lakhs for the full course.
In coming future, the opportunity for Indian students getting job will keep reducing after master in US or UK. Do carefull planning of all scenarios in case for ex what if you do not get job soon, if you get job late in USA, if you get job but loss in lottery in all attempt and finally if you have to return to India without getting job in usa. In all these cases money is important factor. Think on these factors and prepare yourself to face challenges. I know many people will not like this and hear negative things but if you think about negative alsoand how you will overcome it, it can help you to get success. Some people are lucky to find something very early, some are unlucky but after hard work in right direction they find success and some are unlucky and also fails finally because they do not put hard work in right direction. This is very important line "unlucky but after hard work in right direction" will give you success. Do not spend money just for sake of foreign degree. Spend money if you have plan to use the degree for earning from that knowledge. Also which are the sectors where people get job easily if candidate is foreign student is also important factor.
Hey there your journey looks amazing, looking back do you regreat any decisions, also what would be some things you would do different if you got to do it all over again. I am an undergrad just completed my Btech in cs here in India, needed your opinion if should i study masters in the us right now, given the current situation.... Also I scored a 325 on the gre and i think i have a good profile overall, here i am offered job of 7lap I am in a dilema regarding what to do and who better to ask than a person who has gone through everthing that i am going through, would really appretiate your guidance and looking forward to hearing back from you.
Ma'am I have done my graduation in Architecture and planning and I want to do mastrer of science in project management (STEM) from USA. Is it worth for me for but career over there?
I have researched the US job market since 2021. The situation has gone really bad in the 2024. Constant market crashes, students doing master's are jobless for 1+ years, some are even going back. I would suggest that students have patience, gain experience in India, then come for masters after analyzing the situation for couple years.
Recession is throughout the world But when it comes to us It much more better whe. Compared to other countries. Only down side about USA is H1B visa which is very complex.
I'm currently in third year of bsc Microbiology..and I want to pursue my MSC in USA Should I apply or not...and what are the things I should focus on...plz reply
taking more courses for some people can put their academics into risk. Like academic probation, any opinions on this? Is it because that project management is a better choice like being easy compared to computer science core, making it hard.
Would not recommend USA for sports since you won’t get 3 years on a non technical course. Getting only 1 year makes no sense given you’ll be spending so much!
