Definitely make more of these Ed. It’s so important to have instructional content that works for those of us without a racquet sport background. This vid was amazing!
Pickleballbf speaks very well which is surprising (sry) but he was very eloquent and a great teacher, nothing against phuc but bf speaks very well, im sure hes a great public speaker
These guys are the real deal. Not all great players are great teachers, but these two are excellent at both. Thank you for sharing their invaluable lessons, Ed. Please make more!
Tremendous methodology by Marcel and Phuc. Marcel's ability to observe flaws in technique is off the charts. Then he articulates the new technique perfectly. Extremely impressive.
Absolutely, positively the best teacher-student model of all time. Two informative pros who go deep with insightful and clever ways to relax Ed. The results are extremely KISS . ( keep it simple stupid) . All the tips led to a solid backhand and for Ed just let it go , fly Eagles fly. Enjoy your improvements.
Ed this is absolutely one of your best videos yet! Perfect timing, I’m trying to incorporate a two handed backhand in my game. I had a two-handed in tennis, and his breakdown on how the tennis backhand and how the pickleball backhand is different REALLY is helpful! How fricking cool is that to see Tyson Mcgufffin casually stroll by was so much fun to watch😁can’t wait for your next video!
found you on tik tok, followed you to youtube. you have really excellent content. it's not filled with a bunch of youtube bs and editing. it's straightforward, to the point, and above all else - without ego. the fact that you show your self being taught by these more advanced players, and are so completely open, reflective, and respectful of their teaching is actually really wild to see. and because you do that, i learn more. so thank you! i can't wait to see more. cheers!
This is better than I paid for my Two-handed backhand lesson . Great coaches! ( ATTENTION TO DETAIL SKILLS)! Thank you for sharing! I wish I could take a lesson from you . I’m in Calgary Canada.
This is such an awesome video. It's difficult be a great player and great teacher as well. I wish we had good players like this in my area, and Ed Ju getting these valuable lessons from top players makes me a bit jealous, heh.
These guys have the clearest and easily consumable instructions. Would definitely watch more of this type of content. Amazing stuff guys, loving it, Ed!
At 24:00+ you continually tell (and show) Ed "paddle down", and every time he moves the paddle back up. Ed, paddle down. And thanks for bring us this great lesson.
Love the content Ed! I really appreciate that you make Reddit posts for each of these instructional videos. It helps to unpack it when it's dense so that it's more concise while still being comprehensive.
Best video I've seen yet on the two-ee. And it's more meaningful to see it from Ed, a regular player, as he goes from awkward to powerful on his backhand. I love seeing the ball curve left to right naturally from his stroke. That would be devastating to go down the line with. Almost un-hitable if struck right. Also, being able to hit from the left leg, the chicken-wing and throwing the paddle and not the body. I can't wait to get on the court again and try this as I have been kind of lost with my two-ee. It's alot better than it was but it can be better I know. Also, I loved the beginning of the video where you did the two-ee dinking. I gotta try that. It looked so cool to see Ed popping those balls low and consistently over the net. I'm wondering though when do you stop hitting like that go into the full backhand which is what you finished with. Does it change when you get into the transition zone and the NVZ? Anyways, great lessons from you Ed and your two friends are awesome coaches. They are natural teachers and I wish them much success as well.
Wow! Excellent breakdown of the tuey bh. This lesson is going in my PB library, thanks guys. Top notch teaching skills and Ed is a quick study. That new BH alone will get Ed to 4.75 soon.
Two full-time instructors, with cameras, to a single student requires a student who absorbs like a sponge, or it won't be cost effective. The instruction here is great, but Ed was highly motivated to absorb everything, and that matters a lot.
Omg ❤these guys, thank you for this brilliant coaching video, please come to Wales and coach us ..lol..no we'd rather come to you, with the sun and amazing Courts..❤
I was just drilling my 2hb the other day with my friend who was teaching me some form things. This is great timing and will definitely try to incorporate these lessons
I was about to turn this off and count it as a waste of time, but it all literally came together at the end with the catch and toss drill. That motion seems necessary to coordinate the body to throw the paddle instead of the arms, very cool. Way to go guys, you figured it out!
