@@JoeyMac Yea, the time plays its role in matchmaking too, I feel like the people playing in the morning in my time zone are supposed to be 5 ranks below ... I call it *dawn of the bots*.
You are definitely right on the time, I usually play at night (I’m c3, one season got to GC1) and this guys at 3 am are really good, like no joke when I saw that the security cam guy is GC 1 I was shocked. People at my time are playing like rlcs pros compare to him. P.S I should probably try playing at morning xD
@@snerter6411 yes most adults are working chances are you can run younger kids. Seen to many names end in “07” 08” or even “10” or “11”. Crazy to think someone born in 2011 can be 12
vinnie is the perfect example for most ordinary, very delusional champ 1s who underestimate almost every player in any sort of clip because they try to compare the gameplay to theirs and often overestimate their own rank gameplay performance
I'm not dissing that Vinnie guy, but this is a great example of the Dunning Kruger effect, the better players generally rated higher so they put them closer to themselves, while the champ underrated a lot because he thought he was better than them, probably because he isn't uses to analyze himself that much, contrary to the better players
Round 3 reminded me of a higher level player trying to blend in at a lower level (like a road to... series). Powersliding, a couple of recoveries, the fakes, staying with the ball , being in the right places/a step ahead while the other people are flinging themselves at the ball full speed. I don't think they are super high, but they seem higher than the plats they are playing with
@@n4_sx683slow doesnt mean bad that lobby just knows when to shoot defend take pos and actually recover than boosting around hitting the ball till it lands in net this is the reason you are c2
Idea for the series even though Sunless probably won’t see it: Guess the rank: Smurf edition Sunless gets replays from the perspective of smurfs and the players have to guess the rank of both the smurf and the rank they are smurfing in. Good idea or nah?
@@billyrussell8684 honestly? everybody in this game can relate to the smurfs, just today I had an SSL literally smurf C3 - and I would love to see the above video idea anyways. If Sunless doesn't make it a permanent edition of this video series, nobody's gonna begin smurfing just because of one video like that
I got confused, expecting Monkey M00n in this video. But he's French, so fat chance he can speak English well enough to participate in this video*. * I hope this is proper bait for French pro players to prove me wrong, aside from Alpha54 and Ferra.
As a diamond 3 I'm absolutely insulted anyone guessed Diamond for that last one. Dude moved so slow, couldn't hit the ball, and had the worst camera settings in the history of ever.
i cant belive that those are golds, MAYBE its the servers they're in (in in middle east)but in some of my lobbies people are trying air dribbles aerial redirects and people ALWAYS double flip to the ball
I’m so glad to see Kevin still on the channel. I quit rocket league around the time you released the first Kevin video and I’m just getting back Into it now makes me happy to see Kevin again
I ended up tying with Rise over the first 3 and ended -4. Prostate exam angle honestly is staggeringly effective at making it impossible to guess the rank.
Man "Vinnitouch" is the name of a character in a german, western, comedy movie. He's the gay, native american twinbrother of the protagonist. Everytime I heard Vinnietouch I had to remember him in his pink little Native American outfit.
I've met people with weird cam distances but recently i met one who never used a damn ball cam but kept the ball cam off but used his free look. It looked difficult and raged quit when 2 goals was when he missed defending. It was 3-0, then he missed 2 since as it went 3-2 where he raged quit. I still won by defending properly.
You should do something where people who believe they should be a higher rank send in their replays and see if people actually believe they’re a higher rank, without giving the person watching the clip any idea on what rank it is
